Hadoream Prince of the Sevrigel Elves. The page which I drew him on was too big so I had to scan it twice and still didn't get the full picture (with the two combined) but here he is!
Okies, you asked for critique so...
The medal crown really stands out because of the dark outline. It's a little dissapointing then to look at it and see that its not really shaded.
It seems like the base of the neck should be wider and the hair doesn't seem to flow naturally.
Now the nit-picky stuff:
Eyelashes? Should he have them? Where is his other ear?
The large amount of light that is reflected in his eye doesn't seem to fit with how rather sizable his pupils are. More light=smaller pupils.
Like I said, just being nit-picky. I think the pic looks really good. There are just some small things you should take into account.
thanks!! Yes, I should try to blend lines and make the circlet more natural! Thanks! :) Given that he is an elf, I gave him a more slender neck. The hair should be a bit more natural! D
I think he should have eyelashes, though they at first might seem out of place. Even on the most manly men have eyelashes At that angle, the other ear would not be visible.
The light is reflected at a side angle that would affect his pupil too much, though they could probably be a bit smaller. I have naturally very dialated eyes, so before I drew them, I went into the bathroom and tested the light reflection and found that my pupils were still quite large and used that for an eye choice. lol. But I think that you are right. They probably shouldn't be that bit. And definitely the circlet. T.T

So anyway yeah so seem to have good reasons for what you did. ^^ I'm surprised you actually tested the pupil thing. How very... unlazy.

lol. I am not skilled enough to do it without test most things, unfortunately D I did try to fix the circlet in art class the other day. It's a bit better now. I'll try to upload it within the week (I am rather lazy when it comes to uploading. I thought of uploading it when I uploaded Hazamareth today, but I was too lazy )
I'm probably not that skilled either, but testing doesn't really work for me.
^^ Yay fixing things! I'm really lazy with that too. I'm sure that's obvious in the size (or lack there of) of my gallery.
