I have been debating about whether to keep my previous style (as you can see my other work) or do this more 'realistic' style. Please tell me what you think. It would really be appreciated.
This is Armitheus (the assassin from one of my previous drawings) without his mask. I decided to do this drawing after I got frusterated with the last one. lol. And also, I have been wanting to do some cool eyes. :) The scannings never come out as good as the real thing, but here it is.
I think you did a very good job on this. In my opinion it is a bit better than your other drawings in your previous style. But I'm always for just drawing what looks good to the artist drawing it, so it's really up to you it think. I hope that opinion was somewhat helpful.
lol. That was helpful :) Thanks! I can't say that I'm fond of any of these scannings for any of my stuff and on this one I finally learned how to adjust my scanner so it doesn't wash everything out (like it did with everything else I have scanned), but even so, I think I still like this one better. I might do some more this way. After I master their faces I might try doing full poses. :)
I'm glad, cuz sometimes my advice just goes in circles. :/ Scanners can be evil sometimes. I remember hating mine when I used to scan a lot of sketches.
A good way to improve is to do things piece by piece, so good for you. ^^
