Yes, that is a male (I think I decided on how I draw female faces and male faces. This lacks the female detail.). You probably can see the Ion influence, if you play Tales of the Abyss. Hey, the first version I thought of was hella boring. This is MUCH better.
Course, I did make this up randomly.
Ekram Caldwell, one of the main character's friends. He's an intelligent lad (Late teens actually), as he's skilled in medical practices and controlling the element of ice (That spear is actually made of ice. He's also good with a spear, although he's still not much of a fighter. I figure he's got some magical power preventing his hand from freezing/ the spear from melting.) As for personality, he's probably a bit of a wimpy guy, but he's not a coward.
I'm thinking about making him a more important character. He might just stick around until the end. His buddy Kalinda I still question. She may or may not be a major player (Could be just there for character development. Or a death to piss someone off, although there's a LOT of emotional death in the story. Well, not a lot IN, per se...)
This I kinda drew randomly to start off a new sketchbook (I LIKE IT!! It's not too big, plenty of sheets, and isn't as cumbersome as the old one. I'm thinking about taking it to school and drawing more again.). I decided to forget the colored pencils and go back to pencil shading. Believe me, I now LOVE pencil shading, although this one may have been a bit half assed (Not too much, but I didn't have a lot of time open to me when drawing it). I'm gonna do it more now, so you photoshop people can PISS OFF!
I mostly listened to the Valkyrie Profile 2 normal battle music, "A Motion of Finishing Blow," while I drew this.
