John was still asleep in the trailer with Typhon as he tried to wake John up and to help him out of the sleeping bag he was in. John said, "Huh? No alarm clock or something?" Typhon laughed a bit, and he said "Neige wants to see you. You should get going" John was still clothed in his purple outfit Kaolla made him. He put on his purple sneaks, vest, and shorts and walked outside to find Neige. John saw her stand next to her tent and wanted to see John so eagerly. They began to talk.

John= Uh... *yawning and stretching*

Neige= Your hair looks messy. Aren't you a restless sleeper?

John= Just a vaguely unpleasant dream that's all.

Neige= Oh, I got a morning message from Ciel that she and Cerveau just finished that new biometal last night.

John= They have better had some sleep! I hope they don't put this biometal thing too hard.

Neige= Oh don't you worry. There used to it.

Typhon= They helped the hero who saved us, by the way John, have you ever heard of Zero?

John= Zero? I have heard of him.

John knew what he was talking about but John pretended to not know anything. He didn't want to bring too much attention to himself about his non relation to the world he was in.

Neige= We once doubted him, but he risked his life to save Area Zero. He and the legendary X fought together 100 years ago during the Sigma Virus wars.

Brise= Oh yes, he was a good replod who was selfless and daring. He helped all of us even when the caravaners who didn't like him, he still came to our time of need.

John= I bet Zero was a really good person.

Suddenly, the com link on John's wrist began to go off.

Ciel= John, John are you awake yet?

John= Ciel, I hope you got some rest.

Ciel= You heard from Neige that I wanted to see you didn't I?

John= She told me.

Neige= Oh, hello. I told him about you finishing the new biometal.

John= You better have at least some rest, working like that isn't all good for you you know?

Ciel= Then you must have been a lazy person back where you came from then?

John= Ciel! well, anyway. Want me to come over?

Ciel= Be sure you take Neige with you today.

John= uh? oh alright.

Later that day. John and Neige walked to the resistance trailer area and to the lab trailer.

Ciel= Here John. You should try it on first.

John= Ok, here goes.

The biometal was equipped and suddenly took the similarity of the robot who attacked him in the forest cave.

John= Holy crap! I look just like Bass! That crazy robot who threatened me back when I was dealing with Dalton.

Ciel= Sure is. I also had data from your Tardis about him. I also had more data and decided to make a new reploid assistant from the plans you had. I created her and named her right after her original name given to her by her original maker.

John= You made a new reploid last night as well? Why didn't you tell me you two were gonna do that?

Ciel= Since you were so concerned about us so much we decided to work all night for once and make a surprise assistant for not just for us but for you as well, say hello to Roll.

A girl dressed in all red walked towards John and with a smile and cheering voice and said....

Roll= Hello. You must be John. Im Roll, im your new assistant. Well, Ciel's new assistant. *giggles* Im gonna help you on developing upgrades for your new biometal and help develop new models too.

John= Everyone, I really appreciate on what you done, I thank you all. Just don't push yourselves too hard ok?

Roll= You seem... concerned.

Ciel= As to help test out the new Bass X biometal, I am going to assign you another mission. I want you to check up on the place you were before and around the area to make sure there no further Mechaloids and Variants around. Be sure to pick up the scrap parts too. We need more spare parts that we can use ok?

John= You got it. All I need to do is touch them right?

Roll= Yes. They teleport instantly and we collect them.

John= You really do catch on quick do you?

Roll= Sure do.

Ciel= Were all set. You can go and check up with Rouge and she will send you to the place you need to be.

(music stops and became silent)

John walked his way to the exit.

Ciel= Wait! Before you go, be sure to take the Protoman X biometal with you too, you might need it depending on the situation. The Bass X does have deficiency. You will not be able to wall kick in that one. You can do a space jump in it and jump higher however.

John= Space.. Jump?

Roll= Or double jump if you need to hear.

John= Oh, ok.

John made it to the other trailer and talked to the operator.

John= Are you Rouge?

Rouge= That's me. Im the operator. Ciel gave me all the details. Your free to go back to Area Zero anytime your ready.

John= Im ready as I ever will be.

Rouge= Very well, 3 , 2, 1, transport.

John was teleported in a flash. John was back in the Area Zero forest and was ready to do a search check. John said to himself, "I hope things go well."

John began to walk through some wooded area and down hills and saw a few mechaloids still rambling around. John said to himself "More of these things? there really persistent." John used the Bass blaster arm mount cannon and rapidly shot the mechaloids and dropped them down, but not as quickly as the standard blaster. John said to himself again "This blaster must lack of power, cant expect much though, it's new after all and still needs work. I guess I will have to stick to the standard gun until Ciel and Roll get some parts made." John continued to move to one area to another and found the same caver where he encountered Bass. John found some scraps and parts of equipment moved from the caverns and cave rooms where a base was being built. John said to himself once again "I guess they must'ive gotten what they needed." More mechaloids that were still untouched and wildly roaming the cave charged to him and began to fire at him. John shot a few back but John was just too fast for them and he seemed to get around the stacked boxes and catwalks better with his new biometal form, but couldn't wall kick. John found a balled up piece of parchment. John said "Looks like Dalton dropped this." John began to unravel the piece of paper and began to read it. John said "Let's see..... Abagale....? Never heard of this area, let's see........ next strike area? Doesn't sound too good. I better give this to Ciel. Guess I don't need to be here anymore." John turned on his com-link and called back base. John contacted Rouge the operator.

John= Rouge, looks like we only had a few mechaloids left so far. Looks like the culprits came back and cleaned out most of the equipment.

Rouge= Any equipment left?

John= Yeah, few.

Rouge= Good. Just touch them to teleport them all here. Get as much equipment components as possible.

John= Ok. After that im coming back.

(music stops)
John moved from one room to another touching the last of the unmoved equipment and parts getting them transported to the base. Afterward, John called the operator to teleport him back. John believed this mission was a bit to easy. John had a bit of briefing with Ciel.

Ciel= John, looks like the new biometal form similar to the one who attacked you worked great so far.

John= Well, all but this weak arm mount.

Ciel= I believe that can be rearranged. Roll and I can make new enhancement chips to increase it's power. Once we get that updated, you will have the strongest chargeless cannon available.

John= Well, ok.

Roll= Ciel, there's a channel from the resistance base. There's a distress call coming from them. I think you should check it out.

Ciel= On screen please.

Rouge= Yes miss Ciel.

(the screen activates)

Joan= We got a distress signal coming from another continent, I believe it's called the Abigale region.

Ciel= Abagale region? I never heard of that region before.

Joan= You will hear further details from Colbor as he has more to explain about the situation.

Colbor= Abagale is a peaceful region built over the demolished city during the Sigma Virus wars. A region unknown and undiscovered by Neo Arcadia since Dr. Wiel's incident. It's lucky these people have lasted there peace this long until now.

Ciel= Who's attacking them?

Colbor= It's some kind of new reploids I never seen before, they look a bit basic but rather formidable. They seem to be related to some older inferior models used hundreds of years ago.

John= Do you have any visual?

Colbor= Ciel? Who is this?

Ciel= I will explain later. Please show any available visual.

Colbor= Well, alright.

John= Hey! I recognize some of those robots! That cant be .... Metalman! Airman! Snakeman! Woodman? This is getting crazy now. Those are Dr. Wily's robots revamped into updated form of reploids. I cant believe it!

Ciel= You know those attackers John?

John= Yes, well... a few. Rouge, get me there pronto!!

Ciel= John, just what do you think your doing?

John= I may try to slow them down until help arrives.

Colbor= Hey you! Your no Zero buddy! Ciel, stop him!!

John= Rouge, do it now!

(Ciel tried to stop John but it was too late, John already teleported to the location.)

Ciel= JOHN!!!

John= You guys HALT!!

Metalman= Hey, who do you think you are? A human?

Heatman= Why is he dressed up like Bass?

Bubbleman= Just who do you think YOU are?

Snakeman= Bass DID menson about a meddlesome human trying to be a Megaman do-gooder.

Needleman= Is this guy fo-real? He's all alone.

Woodman= Pth! He sounds like he's lookin for a fight!

Sparkman= I say lets get him.

Airman= Lets add a bit of wind to his sails.

Heatman= I say let's make him sizzle!

Metalman= Then what the hell are you lot waiting for, KILL the stinkin PIG!!

John= You call me a pig? Man how much crappier does Dr. Wily make your personalities?

Woodman= Huh? He knows Dr. Wily? That was an insult to our maker! Grrrrrr!

Airman= Im gonna blow you away you little prick.

John= Then what are you waiting for then. Waste me if you can!

Then a great battle began as John wearing his Bass biometal leaped in the air and onto a truck-trailer firing at the robots wrecking the city as John fired his blaster on any one he could spot the closest. John ran across the street as he jumped from one vehicle to another as Metalman, Sparkman, and Airman pursued him. Woodman tried to toss a leaf shield attack but John easily avoided it by double jumping it. Airman had the high ground from a sky scrapper firing a barrage of mini tornado blasts at John. John knew his shots would ricochet from them so he ceased fire and switched biometals, and got into his Protoman biometal and sliced the aeros with the protosaber.

Metalman= What the hell?

Heatman= He looks like Protoman now? but.. how!?

Needleman= Who cares? Let's just pin him out and end this!?

Woodman= Good idea!

John then leaped and walkicked the street lamps to reach the bridge to prevent the raving reploids from gaining up on him. Sparkman caught up and fired a few electric bolts but John blocked them with his protoshield and returned fire. Sparkman flinched and fell from the bridge and fell into a nearby car. Snakeman appeared and fired a few search snake projectiles at John but John jumped over them and fired a few shots but missed. Snakeman tried to get close for a physical attack but John hit him with a charged saber strike and knocked him off the bridge. Heatman began to shoot a barrage of fireballs at John but John evaded the flares and Heatman tried to use a fiery physical attack but John quickly realized Bubbleman fired some shots of bubble lead from behind, John then leaped to the edge of the bridge and escaped and Heatman and Bubbleman ended up hitting each other. Woodman tried to get back at John but his attacks were too slow to make a successful hit. John jumped from one car to another to get away from the constant leaf shield attacks. Metalman appeared and began to throw a barrage of metal blades at him. John rolled over the ground to prevent getting hit. But John ended up in an alleyway where Airman caught up with him and the rest of the angry reploids of Dr. Wily's finally gathered on him.
(music stops to a halt)

Airman= Got you now chump!

Bubbleman= Time to smoke this fool!

Snakeman= Im fed up with his crap!

Heatman= Im gonna melt him inside and out!

Woodman= Cornered and owned poser boy!

Metalman= Now see, this is what happens when you cross the brotherhood. Now it's time to die.

John= AWWWWWW SHHHHHHIT!!

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a flying green and white reploid known as Harpuia, appeared and threw a blast of purple balls of electricity and zapped Bubbleman, Snakeman, Heatman, and Metalman.
A white and red reploid known as Fefnir, charged and with his knuckle busters, grabbed both Needleman and Heatman and flung them up in the air and gave them a taste of his blasts while in midair. Airman and Sparkman tried to go help there naughty comrades but a white and blue reploid girl known as Leviathan, fired a blast of ice spears freezing Airman and Sparkman and did a halberd tackle on them both.

(music plays- Beginning/Street fighter 3)
Leviathan= So you are the guys attacking this continent. Too bad to crash your party.

Fenfir= Dirty scoundrels! Attacking 1 guy at once.

Harpuia= Time to clean up this town of this wretched filth!

Metalman= What's the meaning of this!?

John= Man did I ever get off lucky!?

Fenfir= Who the heck are you?

John= Take it easy pall, im human.

Harpuia= Just what are you doing trying to take these mavericks on your own like that! *guh* we will talk later.

John= Ill give you guys a hand since you saved me.

Leviathan= Thanks but we can take it from here. We will deal with you later anyway.

Metalman got back up and threw metal blades at Harpuia but he was just too fast and dive-bombed Metalman and slammed him on the pavement and then was struck with Harpuia's sabers destroying Metalman. Needle man fired at Harpuia but Fenfir caught him from behind and tossed Needleman in the air and fired a charged knuckle strike breaking him entirely in half. John ducked and rolled away from Snakeman as he tried to smack him with his head tail. John quickly charged his saber and lured him close enough to get a good whack. John struck his saber slicing Snakeman's head clean off. Bubbleman fired shots of bubble lead at Leviathan but she easily blocked them and she stabbed Bubbleman with a big ice lance and Bubbleman was dispatched instantly. Sparkman fired a few bolts at Leviathan but John showed up and fired his charged blaster on him and finishing him off with a saber attack. Airman fired whirlwinds at Fenfir and hit him but Harpuia quickly flew up and struck him with an electric blast blowing him up. Woodman and Heatman tried to escape but from nowhere, a white and purple reploid known as Phantom quickly appeared and threw a huge 3 prong blade entirely slicing both of them at once.

Phantom= Trying to terrorize the humans while were around will you? Pathetic.

Leviathan= Phantom? Is that you?

Harpuia= But, Phantom? Are you really.... Alive?

Phantom= It's ok. Im here.

Fenfir= We thought you were dead. But how?

Phantom= It's all ok, I will explain later.

John= It's all over, phew!

Phantom= Who is this?

Harpuia= A human taking on 8 of these mavericks on his own without thinking!

John= I saw the loons attackin the city on screen so I came to pitch out some help.

Harpuia= You seen these reploids before?

John= Seen them, I know them. Those guys work for a loon called Dr. Albert Wily and I been after this guy for some time.

Fenfir= Heh heh heh, you got guts buddy, I think I like you now.

Harpuia= FENFIR!

Phantom= It appears he may know about these mavericks.

(suddenly John's com-link activated)

Ciel= John! John! Are you ok? I watched it all on the monitor and I am very astounded that you took such an action without thinking! Im really upset with you! You could have been killed!

Harpuia= I know that voice! Is that Miss. Ciel?

John= Huh? Her? Ciel? Oh, yeah. I sort'a dropped in.

Ciel= I am going back to resistance headquarters and moving the team to Abagale and while we are making preparations, you stay with those guardians. You put another toe out of line, I will lock you in that trailer with that Tardis of yours till further notice! Do I make myself clear?!

John= Yes Ciel.

Ciel= Harpuia, it's great to know that your alive.

Harpuia= Yes Miss Ciel. I will take care of this guy for you.

Ciel= Good. Take his biometals away for now. He's in trouble for endangering his life and this is to make sure he Doesn't go doing this again.

John= What!? Your grounding me!?

Harpuia= You heard her mister. Give them here.

(John deactivated the protoman biometal and held both it and the bass biometal and handed them over to Harpuia)

Leviathan= You sure got a good scolding from her that time.

John= Not fair! I wanted to help man!

Leviathan= For now your staying with us and.... where did you get that outfit? Short shorts, long socks and gloves?

John= Here we go again. Oh and someone made it for me.

Harpuia= Me and Phantom are going to see the president, Fenfir, make sure that there the last mavericks and scout around to make sure.

Fenfir= You got it.

Harpuia= Leviathan, take this guy to our HQ and keep an eye on him until you hear from me again.

Leviathan= Yes sir.

John= Well, nice city, I tell you what Levy, wanna go get a few shakes and...

Leviathan= Not so fast you! You and me are going straight to HQ and you and I are going to have a talk.

John= Man, im hungry! I worked up an appetite.

Leviathan= Stop your whining!

John= Look, Levy, just one stop pretty please?

Leviathan= Ok, just ONE stop. And stop calling me LEVY!

John= Sorry. Oh, im John by the way.

Leviathan= Ok, so were introduced. But don't you dare think this is some blind date ok?

John= Ok.

(music dies down slowly)
Sometime later, still in eastern Abagale city, Leviathan took John to the headquarters of the Abagale guardian syndicate where John was escorted and shown to the labs.

John= Well, this is a rather nice place you got here.

Leviathan= I will take that as a compliment.

Old man's voice= Who is it?

Leviathan= Oh, Dr. Mozart.

Dr. Mozart= Oh, you must be that lad who took on those strange mavericks today.

John= Well, I did. I just couldn't let them get away with such a thing.

Leviathan= This is John, he's some new associate to Ciel of the reploid resistance.

Dr. Mozart= Oh, yes. I got contact from her and Harpuia sent me some rather strange inventions Miss Ciel made. Something called Biometal. We did some analysis to them as soon as we got them. I say Miss Ciel has really outdone herself.

John= Oh, Oh,!? With some help from me of'course.

Leviathan= How? You don't look like the scientific type or act like one.

John= Well, long story.

Leviathan= Oh Dr. Mozart, there's something I like to ask you, earlier, we seen Phantom today which was supposed to be dead, how is this possible?

Dr. Mozart= Simple, I resurrected him, or should we say "re-built him from scratch" and re-programmed him with some of your data. Speaking of which, we have a record of an old deceased reploid from the era of the Sigma wars but we are unable to revive him. So we gone ahead and made a biometal ourselves of it. We call it the "Dynamo Biometal".

John= Sweet!

Leviathan= Not so fast you! Your not with Miss Ciel now.

*Suddenly, Harpuia, Fenfir, and Phantom walked inside the room*

Harpuia= Dr. Mozart, we are finished securing the city and towns and finished business with the president, huh, oh he's here as well.

John= Oh, Harpuia, how's the city so far?

Harpuia= Not really your concern is it...

John= Im John by the way.

Fenfir= We didn't get to hear your name little buddy, nice to meet you..

Harpuia= FENFIR!

John= Don't be so hard on him Harpy.

Leviathan= JOHN!

Phantom= I see you want to participate in our team correct? You seem to be in trouble with Miss Ciel due to your reckless actions.

Leviathan= Miss Ciel was furious with him. He took on 8 mavericks without thinking and we told him to stay down but he refused and ...

John= I saved you from Sparkman! He was trying to get you from behind..

Phantom= I see. But you seem to lack a bit of knowledge of battle and without courage, those biometals mean nothing to the one who wields them who have no courage. Like for instance, the sharpest strongest sword in the world is useless to a wielder who lacks courage and skill.

John= I see, well, I need to train and get better.

Harpuia= So you want to join us do you?

John= Yes I do.

Fenfir= When I saw that image of the guy in red in the far distance, I thought HE came back...

Phantom= You didn't refer to ..... Zero ... didn't you, Fenfir?

John= You guys knew Zero? That guy's a freaken legend! I did hear he was a bad guy once though.

John pretend to not know Zero too much because he didn't want to let out his information slip out too soon. But he heard the automatic door open and it was Ciel and Roll entering the room

Dr. Mozart= Miss Ciel, what a surprise to meet you, and who is this?

Ciel= This is my new assistant Roll.

Dr. Mozart= Nice to meet you.

Roll= Thanks.

Fenfir= (whispers to John)*psssst* John! I think that girl you better off with than Leviathan, she can be a bit touchy if you know what I mean?

John= (whispers back) I know. She was quite on the rough side when I was offering to get her some shakes..

Harpuia= *A-HEM!!*

John= GHAH!

Ciel= Nice to see you again Harpuia, Fenfir, Leviathan, .. Phantom, nice to see you too. As for you John your only going to take minor missions till you able to do better. Is that understood!?

John= Yes Ciel.

Roll= I too was a bit concerned with you John. Until you get better equipment and upgrades, you don't ever take actions that are way out of your league like that understand?

John= Yes Roll.

So Ciel and Dr. Mozart went in the briefing room along with the rest of the team explaining about John's status of him being here and about his disappeared friends who may be somewhere in this world. They explained about the biometal matter and how John got in possession of the blueprints and how he was able to fend off Bass back at Area Zero. The meeting was long and couser but John finally finished this evening and spent the night but was egar to go see the new continent of Abagale.
