What the hell is with the Deathnote craze :/ I read a couple of chapters and found it boring
can some1 explain please and give me a reason to wanna read it.
in other news I have to do an anime drawing class on saturday to raise money for ayacon wish me luck cos I gotta talk lots and I'm bad at that
; though I've made it that we watch anime in between xD so I get paid £40 for 2-3 hours for watchin anime and drawing YAY

The character Raito is an utter sociopath who develops a taste for absolute justice. With the help of the Death Note and his own genius, it is his goal to cleanse the world of bad people. Of course, when the world starts to notice all its criminals are dying mysteriously of heart attacks, L, a world class detective, is put on the case. The character L is quirky to say the least, almost autistic in a sense, but is no less a genius than Raito.
Much of the series has to do with the battle wits between L and Raito as each are trying to outsmart and capture/kill the other. It's psychological emphasis is absolutely fascinating.
*cough* And did I mention L handcuffs himself to Raito later on? ;3

lol! Death Note is so great cause it's so complicated (maybe it's only me who likes to read something very involved O___o) the other reason might be cause L and Raito are so cute

You didn't read far enough. Most people get hooked after L becomes a more prominent charcter... (if I recall, after chapter nine or so).
