Ooh, this is going to be odd. I apologise beforehand for the bitching.

In general life:


1.)Manga are not colouring books. If you can't colour my work without permission, why would you be able to colour a mangaka's work without permission?

2.) wish i had the gall to use an official image, paint some brushes over it, post it as a work of "Wallpaper Art," and then not bother to explain that I didn't draw it.

3.)\"Let's make fun of the men with their pillows!\" Well, all right, but I hope you've also got something to say about all the American sports fans who paint their faces and cry when "their" team loses. I hope you've got something to say about the people with NASCAR-paraphanalia filled rumperrooms.

There is nothing wrong with others living their lives as they see fit. However. there is something wrong in using those choices to belittle someone.

4.)Calling someone a name doesn't make them that name, it makes you a bad person who has no self-control and can't handle anything.

5.)That man in North Carolina Perdue kept proclaiming to be dead, but wasn't? Um, Dr. Perdue the retard is the one who needs to be questioned and fired. Not the ones who tried to help the man.

1.)Why don't the anime/manga magazines in america know shit about anime/manga? Who has a female review La Blue Girl, and a male review Wild Rock? What the hell? Aren't the magazines meant to lead the Western anime fandom and supply them with correct information?

3.)Why do the spell it "shonen?" Why do they call shoujo and BL "yaoi?" Why do they refer to Aa! Megamisama, Video Girl Ai, Love Hina, Ai Yori Aoshi, et c. et c. as shoujo? They're all shounen/seinen, dammit! Why do they ast as though "shounen" is a dirty classifaction, to be applied only with thick gloves and a face-mask?

4.)Stop blowing Ghibli/GITS/Watanabe Shinichirou/Kon Satoshi/CLAMP/Nightow Yasuhiro already! God damn, we know they're "the greats." Jeez, Louise.

5.)I'm not all that fond of Cowboy Bebob, Trigun, Ninja Scroll, or Ghost in the Shell. If they'd been my introduction to anime, i don't think I would have watched any after those. They're only "the greats" if you can stomach them.

6.)Why do all of the writers hate the Japanese?

7.)Someone hasn't "just made it big" because their manga's a hit in America. Especially if it was a hit in their country 20 years back. They already made it big. The West isn't the only place that matters, you know.

There's so much more stuff that bothers me, but, I think everyone's got stuff that bothers them.

And, the things on this list aren't necessarily bad things, they're just things that bother me. I'm fully aware it's silly to post this, and that I'm a big whiny baby for being bothered.

So, in light of that, please, share what bothers you, too. It would be silly to act like I'm the only one who gets to bitch.

(and, yes. "people who make self-important rants about what bothers them" is fully expected to be somewhere on there. All though, if you do it, too, I don't see why I can't. )
