Good news: I went nuts on craigslist, and submitted a whole bunch of applications
bad news: they all decide to call me all at once except for the one i was really rooting for!
DOH!
I did get a brief reply from the company I was rooting for, but it was to send my previous compensation history... thats a good thing, yes? that they took the time to ask?
Anywho: the other two that called me back are being a bridal consultant ( shudders.. uugh.. women. scary) and also working in the theme park nearby as an artisan..
I guess I may go for interviews for the ones that called me back... do you think its bad to say that I want to see if my first choice calls me back or not? i mean i dont want to sound like a dick, but if the other company is even remotely interested in me, then I'd rather hold out for that one. I mean hell. I believe it even comes with a company car! o_o

Well, at the end of the day, a job is a job. You get paid. Even if it's not the one you like but you can push yourself forward to get the job you want.
