Mood

This seemed necessary as I keep writing this novel.


The Din

Annabeth "Wil" Wilkes has always found her posh life in the Ritannian gentry so terribly dull.

She, along with her mother and sister, have waited for nine years for her father to return. He simply walked away one night to get dinner and never returned. Now that they are out of mourning, the parties hosted by their mother are nonstop.

However, every night, Wil hears something, a whisper beneath the din, and every night, it comes to reel her in more and more.

Along with her best friend Jack and her new friend, Neesha, they are determined to figure out the mystery of the Missing, and to discover what exactly lurks in The Din.
