There was a story in the local Tribune a few days ago about a man shooting his friend in the head. First I would like to say that the only reason I picked the newspaper up and didn't get to it until today was because I am using the newspaper in an art project.
So, apparently this guy and his pal were drunk, and when his friend was checking his Fantasy Football stuff on the computer the man decided it would be funny to take his handgun and put it to his friend's head then pull the trigger. Turns out the safety wasn't on like he thought, and now his buddy's got a big ol' hole in his noggin.
Seriously folks... WTF? How drunk do you have to be to even consider putting a gun to your friend's head, safety or no, and squeezing the trigger? According to him he did it just out of stupidity, THAT would be the understatement of the year.
His bud's not dead by the way, but I don't suppose they're going to be hanging out for a very long while if ever.
Also, should anyone be concerned... I am bouncing around ideas for a story... my biggest problem is trying to make it a short one XP I'm not sure I want to commit to something super long. I might just write a chunk of it.

Well gee, this case of stupidity wasn't even TERMINAL. I say that for every case of severe stupidity, the person in question should lose a limb. starting with the leg, then going to the non-dominant arm, then the other leg and the dominant arm. if they still manage to do something stupid, they're out of chances.
