On Nov 23rd 2009, at 8:53PM I will have been on this site for five years.
Holy crap does time fly!
I never imagined when I joined this small, little heard of site five years ago that it would become the beast it is today
I heard about sheezyart through a friend on DA, I had been there no more than 3-6 months before this friend decided to leave DA for greener pastures and less harassment about her anthro art and posted a link to her new account here.
I followed like any curious fool. Damn but this site sucked me in and refused to let go. To the point where I made it my main hangout on the net.
Now nearly five years later I can't even remember who that person who referred me was, sadly.
I've seen the invention of clubs, the disappearance of dante (psst he's in the
cookies!). I remember when the news was on the front page, the days before up voting/down voting. I was there for the great week long site closure and the resulting drive for funds to keep the site going (you don't forget the sight of an
animated CC and spencer crying hehe). I remember when we had categories that got rearranged and then recently dumped, and the time before music was even uploadable onto the site.
It's been a great five years and let's all hope for at least five more!
Party on people I know I will!
The contents of this journal, the shout, art etc are my own views, my own opinions etc and should not be taken as the views of this site or anyone else on cast. You'll just have to read their journals to know their views lol
COMPUTER SAFETY:
Information about keeping your computer safe on the net written by myself (from my experience with various sites like neopets which is a minefield for scams) can be found
HERE
ART AND STOCK:
Note:
Unless in the stock section, my art is NOT stock! I have been known to make exceptions with friends on certain pieces but just because I allow someone to use a particular piece in their work does not mean that piece is then available for everyone to use. Sorry.
ANIMATING ICONS TUTORIAL:
It's 75x75 here
FIXING AOL BLUR:

CREDIT WHERE DUE:
Special Alert:
You must credit any and all sites/books etc you get your sources from. Like stock and brushes.
Basic rule of thumb:anything you did not make has to be credited in the comments for the piece or at the very least provide a link to the credit in the comments.
That goes for copyrighted characters. That means if you drew pictures of Sonic The Hedgehog, you should credit the person/company who created the character.

5 years seems so small
Congrats on the 5 years
