Muse - We Are The Universe
Yesterday = Probably the most epic day of my life.

So I took the train around about 15:00, got to the stadium at 16:00. Met up with my three gig buddies who stood there since the morning and were tired to hell. Surprised to see that there wasn't a big que yet. But by the time the doors were going to open, it was fucking massive and the streets were clogged.

For a split second while we were waiting for the doors, we looked up into one of the windows and saw Bellamy up close for a second until he left, and everyone went batshit insane.

After the doors were delayed by 30 minutes they eventually let us in at 19:00. Everyone was fucking crazy at the doors. Security were all like FFFFUUUU-

The pressure was massive, so I got seperated from my three gig buds. Which is a shame cause they commented later on that they didn't get to see much cause they're short.

But yeah, 20:00 support act begun. The Horrors. They were pretty okay I guess. The singer acted like he was trying too hard with that microphone though. I guess they sound like a mix of A Place To Bury Strangers and Nine Inch Nails.

So yeah. 21:00, its Muse time. Finally.

^ That's not my video btw. I only included this cause of that motherfucking sexy intro. Uprising was great but the guy who recorded that's jumping around too much in it for it to be enjoyable.

Yeah, you can tell that the crowd went batshit insane during Uprising. I went batshit insane, especially with that massive epic intro. Experiencing that sent shivers throughout my spine like nothing else, considering it was my first real gig after all.

Reviewing track by track is for pussies. Here's the pictures.

Considering Muse doesn't too often tour up here in Scandinavia I cant say that most of the gig went alot to the new material, even though they only omitted 4 songs from The Resistance. They played quite some old stuff. Although I did twitch at TIRO. Im so damn tired of that song.

It was also fun to see Matt try to take a stab at talking Danish (well that was only saying thank you), it sounded more like Swedish. But it felt like they communicated a bit more with the crowd this time than usual.

The highest quality videos I have with me from the gig. My cellphone is fucking horrible.

You can find the setlist here:

On the way out of the gig place I was exhausted and sweaty. It felt too good, but I desperately wanted more. But you cant have them all. Bought a Resistance Tour poster as memorabilia in the merch booth. Wont have anywhere to hang it probably, but I don't care.

If I'd have to rate the tour's setlist I'd give it a 9/10, but for an experience it would have to be 10/10. Can't wait until the next time I get the chance to see them. There's a substantial difference seeing Muse live on a YouTube video/DVD and seeing them live with your own eyes. No wonder they're called the best live act in the world, which, ironically, they won the Q award for few minutes right before the concert started. Was next to two really cool guys who I hung out with during the concert and they checked Muse's twitter on their iPhone while the stage was being set up.

Also at the end of the gig the visual screens were recording the crowd, so I saw myself on the big screen for like 4 seconds.
