1. What is your full name? Cactus Flower Murdock
2. Where and when were you born? General Santos City, November 2nd 1976, Scorpio... haaaa....
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) Fiona Star, Interior Designer, bubbly and eccentric as all hell. Mr. James Phineas Murdock, Detective, S-stammering fool.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? Two twin brothers. One is a drag queen/Neurosurgeon and practicing in Neurology. The other is a walking plague, devouring the souls and sucking the psyches of everyone that comes in contact.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. -
I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. My house is big, but could be bigger. The loft has a skylight and has a decent view of the city. The walls are a diluted teal color- meant to calm mental energy and ward off mental illness. It runs in the family. Also. I have 9 children and a faithful Nanny. She does most of the work around the house... I consider myself busy, and a little neglectful.
6. What is your occupation? Full-time father, part-time serial killer.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. I'm six foot eight. A giant, really... I weigh in at 190lbs. I'm Filipino, Indonesian, Mayan, Irish and German. I forget my natural haircolor, as with puberty came grey. I wear it shaved over my ears and on my temples, short in the back and extended in the front. My eyes are park-grass green. I dress 50's with a mod-twist. For tattoo's- both my sleeves are complete, I have a crown centered on my clavicle, My daughters name along with script down my abdomen, a broken blue heart wrapped in cobwebs on my chest, frankenstein, bats, bombs and guns somewhere on me... And two barcodes behind my hairline on my temples. I usually have a black eye, a busted forehead or lip... Classic warwounds.
8. To which social class do you belong? Growing up how I did got me caught up in all kinds of hell. The class I belong to is well below water-level... Beneath the grit and the grime.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? I'm allergic to nickel and bees... I have Type 1 Diabetes and from that, Hypoglycemia and Proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Right handed.
11. What does your voice sound like? I'm a monster? So you could imagine it's rumbly and deep. I speak slow and with a minor impediment dubbed 'speech apraxia'. Kind of like dyslexia, but out loud.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? I say 'is that right' too much.
13. What do you have in your pockets? Firecrackers, rubber wiring, wallet, disposable syringes, insulin.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I'm charming, though slightly air-headed. I keep personal matters under wraps.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general? I spent most of my childhood puppy-guarding my mother, most of my teens supporting her. I ended up making all the wrong choices and fucking myself over.
16. What is your earliest memory? In the hospital.. I was probably 3 at the time. My brothers were just born, I guess... and Green couldn't come home yet so they kept my mom in the ward for a while. The playroom had germs visible to even a toddler.
17. How much schooling have you had? Didn't make it passed grade seven.
18. Did you enjoy school? I can't remember. I was too busy taking care of my family one way or another. Green's medication was expensive and we couldn't afford it at the time.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? Most of my skills revolve around fighting. I'm really good at physical harm, building and disarming bombs... Not much else.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Lastikman was my hero. I had all my dads comics. He could stretch and contort like a motherfucker. An alien trapped on earth... Fighting crime in Manila.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? Momma's boy. Dad was never there, and then he just up and 'died.' My brothers were invisible, but they had eachother. Me and Green stopped talking when I was 16.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A supervillain. A bomb-geek. Joker.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? Torturing and killing domesticated and small wild animals. Blowing up my toys and then on to bigger things. I'm not proud or anything.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? Very loyal to my madre. I used to get severe seperation anxiety when she wasn't in the same room as me, up until I was 10. It was less severe from then on. Most others couldn't get a decent conversation from me. I was very pessimistic... Possibly why I work on being charismatic and charming now. It's less lonely.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? I was not popular at all. I had a few 'friends', 'business' partners would throw parties. Small groups of organized chaos. I surrounded myself with people who were deathly allergic to sobriety.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss? I was 13. She cut her lip on my braces. Her name was Anabel and her hair smelt nice.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? When I was 13, with Anabel... Moments after I cut her lip. She was a sadist. It was horrifying.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
Is it strange I discuss this openly? I'm just a regular psycho-billy-goat. I kill people. I have a shadow self, or; an inner voice that drives me to torture and kill.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? Freeing myself from being a dark passenger to an even darker community. 'Gangs' are so dirty.
30. Who has had the most influence on you? A friend of mine, Bronwen. Though he's known as Rocket. Technically I stole his identity... But he wasn't using it. Either way. Rocket taught me to cover my tracks.. Vital in my line of work..
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Raising 9 children. It's alot of work.
32. What is your greatest regret? Not adopting my neice while I had the chance. She's so far gone, just like her father.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? Oh, wow. I guess blowing up a small apartment building. Everybody was sleeping inside.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? I paid my debts and wiped the slate clean. Money buys freedom in the third world.
35. When was the time you were the most frightened? Several times, to be honest. I guess the most was... All the symptoms before I was diagnosed with Diabetes. I was young. It was scary.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? When I was 18 I was napping with my ladyfriend, dreaming that I was standing over a urinal. I started pissing myself. In HER bed. I woke up instantly, but it was too late and I couldn't stop.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? I'd steal my madre away. And kill anything that got in my way.
38. What is your best memory? I have no idea. .
39. What is your worst memory? Being 75% grey when I was 12.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? THE GLASS IS FUCKIN FULL. Optimistic.
41. What is your greatest fear? Loved ones dying. [cringe]
42. What are your religious views? I'm open to suggestion.
43. What are your political views? I don't like gangs, no matter what the cause.
44. What are your views on sex? Sex is natural, sex is feelgood.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? I'm not able to /stop/ killing, an insatiable urge beyond my control. I don't kill kids.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Dedicate themselves to others... Spanning beyond the point of selflessness, dividing their lifeforce and soul amongst a crowd of acquaintences until there's nothing left but a dried up husk.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? If what you want is a long term relationship, have atter'. I'm not one to judge, and it certainly isn't my place to say.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life? Make your own mistakes, and teach with them, rather than making the same mistakes as everybody else and having nothing to give or receive.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I'm very fake. Almost plastic. I don't openly brood; I'm cynical, playful, suspicious, skeptical... Whatever you wanna call it.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? This question is vague. I'm biased and prejudiced on a regular basis towards various subjects.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? Harm children, skydive, or swim. fuckno. I have my damn reasons.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? Mother and children. Duh.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? I don't get very far with people. Sometimes they end up feeling close, like they 'know' me... But it's not me. The closer they feel, the further I feel. Like I know less and less about them with time.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? My 'shadow' self. It's the most important because it's also the most dreaded part of my life. It's top priority to keep everything else in line.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? I have no respect when it comes down to it...
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. Mosters keep their distance. I have few acquaintances.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Crushi. My African goddess of afterlife. Her touch freezes and her love burns.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. I was married. Once again I was plagued by seperation anxiety and kept her bound close to home with many children. She was my earth, everybody else was a hostile alien attempting world domination. With her at home there were less hungering eyes to stab at.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover? I don't seek potential lovers. The sparks and fizzes are all drawn randomly from a hat.
60. How close are you to your family? At one point I was more involved... I keep my memories filed in alphabetical order close to my heart but there are no phone calls. No dinners or holidays... Just chronic white noise and phantoms in the back of my skull.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? I have 8 children, and adopted my nephew. I'd say more but there isn't more to say.
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? It depends. I'd sooner let myself lose than consult a 'friend'. I deal by myself, it's simple.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? I pay for protection when I need it. I'm partial to using weapons unless I'm in control of a kill.. but hand-to-hand is tempting, I always love a good bar fight. Ooooops, off topic. Who? Somebody big. Why? Because they're big.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? My broke nanny and starving children.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? My father. I'm not telling why.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? I avoid it! But the sad thing is I blatantly piss people off until I get a reaction before backing down.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? I'm background noise in social situations. Just happy in the sidelines.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? Interacting with people is fine... Public speaking is difficult. I wont do it. It makes me feel naked and exposed.
69. Do you care what others think of you? Generally no. My personality is a front, so it's like what they interpret is based off an imaginary person- Wait. I'm really sensitive about what people actually /know/ about me. The 'real' me. So. Yeah is the answer, I guess?
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? I'll go blind reading old comic books.... I also really like making explosives.
71. What is your most treasured possession? Issue 1 of the original Lastikman comic. Pretty much a geek....It runs in my blood line.
72. What is your favorite color? Purple. Teal.. Orange.
73. What is your favorite food? BOBOTIE. Mmmmmmmmmmm.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read? COMIC BOOKS. Easier on the eyes.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)? Watching movies makes me itchy. I dunno. I'm not one of those artsy-types.... I guess silent movies and the fetus of rock n' roll.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? I seldom smoke... I drink to celebrate.... and my drug of choice is murder.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? Stalking prey... Hehe. This interview-thing makes me sound evil.
78. What makes you laugh? Magic mushrooms.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you? Any blows that hit close to home. i.e; My mother was killed by power tools... so 'Home Improvement' isn't funny anymore.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? I'd hide in the darkest corner of the house and read mah comics until my eyes bled.
81. How do you deal with stress? I kill people.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? Always need a plan.
83. What are your pet peeves? People attempting to pry my loosened mask off when I'm drunk. It doesn't happen often, people don't generally care.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? When I wake up it's generally between 4-5 am. Either a crippling headache or eye pain wakes me. I drag myself towards the coffee maker and slam back a pot of black coffee, sans mug. Test my blood sugar. Eat if I have to. Insulin shot. Comic book. Bombarded by children. Tinkering with C4. Comic book. Blood sugar. Food. Coffee. Downtown. Stalk. Blood sugar, eat, kill, sleep, repeat. If my routine is fucked with I get disoriented/moody and lock myself in my room. It takes days to get me back to normal.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person? Population control.
86. What is your greatest weakness? Population control.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? To be able to share myself with others.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? Extroversion is my cover for severe introversion. The very thought of somebody knowing me makes me want to hyperventilate into a paper bag.
89. Are you generally organized or messy? Organized chaos. It may look like a mess, but it's all in order. Possibly alphabetical.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at. - I'm good at providing for my family, explosives and covering my tracks. I'm bad with pronouncing things; [moreso in my first language- idk] Intimacy and relating with the general public.
91. Do you like yourself? Not particularly but the feelings are mutual? Hmmmm.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) Okay. As I've mentioned several times; I stalk and kill people to satisfy an urge [addiction, craving, etc]. It's theraputic and I need it more than oxygen. It's an adventure of sorts. Adrenaline pumping through my veins. I don't tell people about it.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? To fill my subconscious belly with comic books and gun powder.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? My eyes don't see that far. I could only imagine I'd feel older?
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? Before my mother dies. Too late.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. - Hug and kiss all my children, write a will, one more kill.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? The only trace I'll leave is the next generation of myself. Besides that... I want to be invisible.
98. What three words best describe your personality? False, bittersweet, 'mysterious' bahaha. But only that last one because I need to carve out my false personality and fill in the gaps.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you? Moody, airheaded, detached.
