- About to EXPLODE!
OK, so, my mom had to go in for surgery a couple days ago. Wednesday, I think. She was afraid. I'm sure I would have been too. She had to have a Hysterectomy, and I understand her fear.
Though when I'm older, I might get rid of mine too, my periods are horrible compared to most people. I probably wouldn't be so pale if I were a guy, lol;;;
The story goes, my parents were just getting back together when they found out my mom was pregnant. They got excited, and my mom waited to make sure, but found out she wasn't. My dad sort of got a little upset, 'cause it's been about 12 years since I've gotten a new little sibling, and out of all the girls in the house,
Including my 4 cats, 1 dog /I think/ he wants a little boy.
He really wanted a little girl My mom was fine with the idea, and they went to the gynacologist first to make sure she was fit enough to have another child. They said that her uterus was already inflated/irritated to the size as if she already had been pregnant for a couple months. So, the option was a Hysterectomy.
So, my dad spent several days and nights at the hospital waiting for my mom/when my mom got out. Apparently she was so drugged out that she was asking for more pain medicine; what my dad said, so we couldn't visit her. She'd probably snap at us and make us leave, upset.
After my dad left, you know what the head nurse told my mom, when she asked/cried for stronger pain medicine? "Stop crying, and deal with it."

AETGFGJMH;AKDFJMGA'RSF DAMNIT! *word vomits in aggravation*
And to make things worse, because the 'supposedly' had no other rooms, they stuck her in the MATERNITY WARD where mothers were recovering from having their BABIES! COME ON COULD THEY HAVE BEEN ANY CRUELER!?
... And the unfortunate answer is YES.
They were giving her something everyday people take for minor aches and pains, and wouldn't change the dose OR give her something stronger. And lets just say, for kicks, or because they didn't want to deal with her crying, they drove her medical bed down one hall, and down another, and left her there /so I remember being told/ for a long time! SFGDKJNHSD;FG
And to further the suffering, they left one of those heart-beat pressure things on her arm ALL NIGHT giving her a giant bruise! And my Grandma, who happens to work at this hospital and knows of the horrible caring they do for their patients, had to take care of her herself until my dad got fed up, and took her out of the hospital. "I don't want to stay here," is what I remember my dad telling me that my mom said. "Either you take my out of here, or I'm walking out."
GO MOM. Seriously!
So, my dad took her home and gave her a STRONGER medicine, that he takes for his foot that has something wrong with it, and she was better! She came home waddling as slow as a turtle climbing stairs!
Which I assume is even slower than walking for them. Once he gave her that medicine, she got better, and now she's talking normally, whereas two days ago she barely spoke!
And she told us that they put her on spicy foods while she was recovering, which IN MY OPINION, ISN'T GOOD FOR A SURGERY RECOVERY PATIENT. My mom doesn't mind spicy things. I hate them. But she can stand them sometimes, and likes them. But when she's got like 10 pounds missing from her tummy and they probably had to move her stomach an stuff around to get to her uterus, I think she would have much rather eaten yogurt or something.
So. We. Are. SERIOUSLY. SUING.
S E R I O U S L Y.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF *FLAILS IN AGGRAVATION*
Normally I get upset with my mom for being kicked off my computer, but when even my dad, who was thinking about leaving us, but loves my mom so much, gets upset and threatens to sue, I SIDE WITH HIM NO MATTER WHAT. IF WE'RE SUEING, I'M SENDING THIS JOURNAL TO THE NEWSPAPERS. They're just waiting for someone to come forwards with a story of medical neglect!
Oh, and we're not going to sue for money. Though it'd be nice, we're suing for that DAMNED HEAD NURSES' JOB. She has no right to be so rude to a patient! She's a NURSE nonetheless! I don't care if she's the head Puba of Nurse Town, she's A FRICKIN NURSE AND HAS TO DO THE SAME AS EVERY OTHER NURSE.
And what will I personally say to her when she get her job taken away from her? "Stop crying and GET OVER IT."
TehD Says:
Wowwww wtfff. What dicks. |8
I'm glad your Mom is okay now and they didn't screw her up any more or something stupid. \:
If you do sue, good luck! D:
Starsity Says:
Which hospital is this?
That's seriously uncool.
Yasumeru Says:
Wow, that is HORRIBLE. What kind of crap hospital is that?!
I'm glad you guys took her out and she's better. I really do hope you sue them. Stuff like this pisses me off. :/
