So so so guys.
Cheshire County Council are starting some roadworks on the A51 Chester Road. The road will be closed in both directions while they resurface it. That is, dig it up, and relay it. Hmmm.
This means that I will have to go along the NARROW BACK ROADS to get to work in the morning. This will add around 20 to 30 minutes to a journey that already lasts 20 to 30 minutes. So I'll likely spend 2 hours per day driving. Hmmm.
Add onto this that the INCREDIBLY NARROW BRIDGE at the bottom of the lane I live on has suffered structural damage, and is going to have repair work done to it AT THE SAME TIME, this will make everything worse. They have to set up signals to stop traffic in both directions. The workers will clear their equipment from the road, and THEN set the signals to green if anyone wants to pass.
So yeah, I'm going to be seriously pissed if this screws me up for the next month.
