Honestly, I'm pretty sure no one pays attention to me anymore. No, not dead, but busy with homework and art I probably won't be uploading because I want to protect them from art thieves. I am also considering leaving because I can't get a single person to buy my art.

Those who bothered to read this, kudos to you. I appreciate your interest.

I love seeing your art in my updates every now and then ;o;

Just sort of came back, sort of still not here, so yeah.

There is no way to gain attention without gaining the attention of at least one art thief, so if you're afraid of posting it up to protect it, you're only harming your own creative process of self-exploration and development as a budding artist! If you really want them to be protected, become so good that your community that watches you will become outspoken against anyone who posts anything you have created!

Just the conclusion I came up with when I thought about this stage and what I'd do about it if I ever got to it, even though I'm too far away from it to be considering it.

Sheezyart is dying, I'm not gonna deny it, I've seen tons of journals of artists saying whether to leave or stay, and I've posted mine thinking about leaving a while back, so it's not that no one's paying attention to you, it's just that most people aren't even here anymore to pay attention to you. I mean, I barely go on here nowadays, so don't take too much into not getting the usual favorites or comments from the usual people. I didn't really get any reception from anyone until I announced that I might be leaving, and I've been active in SheezyArt since early 2006.

You're a great artist, and don't let anyone put you down, mentally, physically, or any other way, be proud that you can do what you can do, and brush away any setbacks that might come upon you and plow forward striving to get better, even if you're good enough to be a professional artist. I like your art, which is why I watched you, but I won't stop you from leaving. I won't tell you that you must stay on Sheezyart either just because I want you too. That's a decision you must make for yourself. As much as artists are dependent on community orientation for support as well as critique and direction, there are other places out there like here that you can go to if you don't feel like you're getting the right attention here. =]

All in all, whether you chose to stay or go, I wish you well on your life outside the screen, and your future choices and experiences. :]
