Subject: Accreditation Order
Reason: You have 48 hours to go through your gallery and edit the descriptions of all submissions which contain copyrighted characters and credit the owners/creators of these characters clearly in the respective descriptions.
If you fail to do this within 48 hours the artworks will be removed. If you fail to credit the characters used in your submissions in the future they will be deleted.

if my stuff gets deleted, oh well. Trying to start to get used to deviantART, so might as well use that site more now.

I think that's a rather stupid message. Using that logic, we should probably credit all characters that aren't ours.

It seems retarded in honesty. I mean, you draw copyrighted characters, people should know that its not your character if they have seen them before and you aren't exactly taking credit for the creation of character. :/ Geeze.
It wasn't as though you said the characters belonged to you, so there shouldn't really be an issue.
Some of the RC seem to be cracking down on fan art right now and making sure it follows guidelines - perhaps somebody slapped the site with some legal order?

I usually don't put copyrights or whatever down because it's pretty obvious when characters arent my own :l I put some thing in my profile when I first started that copyrighted characters didn't belong to me, but the artwork was. I haven't gotten this message yet, but I loathe the day it comes :C
