M'kay you people don't really seem to get it. I'm not asking you to pledge alliegance or whatever. :\ I'm just asking what your perception of me as an artist is. (This is sort of contradictory, so I've been told.)
I'm feeling rather insecure at the moment. I've been submitting things for two days, but I've only got the one comment. (Dude, the fave doesn't count because that shit was ages old.(Why am I writing this if you don't even have a functional computer yet?)) Yesterday, I understood.
Today, I'm a little worried.
Do you people watch me
just for the drawings? Just the the scarce requests, trades or whatnot?
I guess what I'm asking is if you care about my poetry/prose at all, really. Because it srsly doesn't look like you peeps give a damn at all lol.
If that's the case, I suggest you dewatch me now. :) Because I won't be drawing anything for a long time, I think. I haven't drawn anything since that last thing I drew... Which was what, again? I can't even remember.
I'm an
english literature student for a reason. So I think you guys should be getting used to my writing. I'm obviously more of a writer--if I can call myself that!--than a drawer. I think.

Pretty much nobody comments on writing, believe me. This week I posted artwork that got upwards of 15 faves and parts to a new story that got one comment each, and they're not even long posts. I've been posting writing for a long time and this is always the case, unfortunately.
Unless you're a crap writer and have legions of fantards going OMG THAT WAS AWESUM!!!111! to your shitty fanfictions.

I really don't think people should assume they'll get attention. Write for yourself - not for reviews.
When I stopped wanting pageviews, I became much more secure.

I agree with, uh, 'whoreinabag'. I did start watching you for art, but you know, I only comment every now and then as it is...
When I submit stuff, I don't really expect comments. I appreciate them like woah, but I don't really expect them because I know it's not much worth commenting on. Reading and listening to music takes more time than looking at art--so basically, you're putting a larger demand on your audience by expecting them to read. I can't tell you much beyond that.
