Long time to chat, everyone.

So needless to say, I have been quite busy all summer and haven't had the chance write a sensible journal. Let's jump back to July

AX:
So i went to AX. I will begin to say it was one of the best experiences I've had at a convention and best trip I've had. The flight out was a bit of a drag. Chicago was quite deary and Vegas really had slot machines in the airports. Got to Cali and I had to wait for , She was running behind because her cosplay or something. Vensy and her dad picked me up and then got Osa is pretty cool. A bit quiet but a very sensible guy. Nice to have a round. Got to the hotel. Cleared up some issues and got the room. Meet Kerry. Got to the Con. Got Badges after a long wait and then hung out at the maid cafe, which was cool, and at the arcade room. Day 1 was pretty good. went to a bunch a rooms and gave the dealer's room a quick look. Met and hung with . Met Alex and . Went to AX idol and met and a few others. I hung with them for a bit but i kind of was ignored for the most part. Idk but maybe i just didn't meld with them. I got to shoo off at the hotel so i went to the room and was an emo sack for a couple hours. I had my hopes up to hang with them. Anyway, I lost my bus pass so i was limited. The gang came back so we went to denny's with some of the animaid cafe and that cheered me up greatly. Day 2, I cosplayed as Kakuzu and did a bunch of shopping. I had a great time at the photoshoot for naruto. Also went to the AX forum panel, despite not being on the forum and met some cool people. Also went to a panel on Zbrush which a great program. i might get it and learn it soon. I tried to find a place to buy stuff to drink for the group but go so lost, I ended up on the other side of DTLA and only came back with some beer and wine. Despite not getting what i was really looking for, it paid off in the long run as the gang made some people in a lounge area and we had fun. Apparently, you can't drink after 2 in Cali. Still used to New York. Cosplayed again on Day 3 so that i could have more fun and Vensy's Yoko cosplay got us a lot of group cosplay picture. That really made things for me. Spent more money. I found a place to buy drinks but i was had to walk with it all by hand. I will never do it again, at least with as much as i was carrying, while in cosplay, nonetheless. Not much happened that night but a few drinks. Day 4 was quite laid back. I spend my last bit of spending money and got reimburse for some that i was owed. Luckily i was able to fit it all in my suitcase. After saying goodbyes, I got picked up by my cousin. We got dinner and watched stuff about Michael Jackson. I said at his place the night and then went to another cousin's after he got back from work. Hung with them and meet some new members of the family. Went to the airport and then go the terminal wrong twice. Also, they took my 151 so it was a waste. The plane was late, but i slept the whole way back. Got stuck in boston for a bit. Got home and took a good rest and did my best to unpack. Went to work the next day and got tons of questions and showed some questions. Also, It was my bday so i got some lotto tickets. Lastly, i was right, I got written up on my birthday and i notated it the form.

NAF:
Worked at NAF this year. I had to drive a bunch of people up. More than i intended. Worked with a bunch of new staff. Had to do a lot of extra work that i shouldn't have had to do. I was assistant to HR which was good because i am familiar with organizing workers from previous cons. The Con did a bit better this year but seriously needs some work. I'm pulling back as corporate liaison and picking up website as it is needed to make us more professional. We were proposed to move the con but we don't have the backing for it.

Rest of July:
The rest of the moth was me working. I got a new laptop takes to mom. I also have a new girlfriend, name Jodi. She is in canada and is part of NAF. Also, a bunch of other women popped into my life right after we said we're dating. It was weird.

August:
Got written up at work. Last one before being fired. Was told that i had to make at least one goal to keep my job. A couple days later, got to goal. Also, the upstart at work made 2 goals and got fired afterwards for lateness. LOL foolish boy. anyway i spent the rest of the month trying to get my friend to goal as well. Also, Jodi came to Rochester with the family so i met her and we went shopping. Also, i spent a weekend with her and the family and met more. Everyone likes me so much it's weird. Going back to work, i got put in a meeting telling us that we were going to change supervisors and given another 3 month so that we can try to rework the structure and try to get the money worked better. Basically, it was a last ditch effort to see whether if not collecting was us or the paper. It was not smartest thing to do considering that there was a limit of 3 months and this was the part of the year where the money was going to flow, due to the client sending letters about tax offsets. Either way, i was willing to go with it as it secured my job, as well as my friends. After some side work, parties, and meetings, Jodi came to visit once more for a couple days. I collected over 50% of my goal sept and my friend was way higher. Also, I got Adobe CS4 and it's amazing

September:
Well, had breakfast with jodi and family to say goodbye. Then went to work. Moved all my stuff to a new desk, while everyone asked where my friend was. He didn't call or come in. Later in the day, he called and told me his military friend was killed in japan on service. He said he wasn't mentally fit to come in, which i could tell. He got phoned around the office, which made me worry about him getting fired. Right before going to lunch i got introduced to a new person, basically,my friend's replacement. I was so pissed i drove home. Also, the fridge stopped working so i had to check on it. I got back to work and was called into the office to be fired. Basically, they are renigging on the promise and the fact that i was at goal because of a letter from the head of the company to fire some people. So being on the team for over a year, longer than anyone has been on the team in the last years, meant nothing. Not to mention that i would going to bonus and when i was bonusing they found a way make it that i didn't. They were "kind" enough to put me on the list for rehire. idk if i would take the offer after all that. So i packed up my stuff and left. Dwelled on it with some people from work. Right now, I'm doing housework and waiting to see if unemployment will be going through but it looks like it. I might get food stamps. This way, i won't have to defer my student loans. I will now take the time to work out more, design more, help with SA more, and learn new stuff. Also, I've been catching up on anime and stuff.

So that's my summer. Most eventful ever. I guess you guys will see me around a lot more.
