The past few weeks/months have been crazy busy and fun! Lots of my friends from out of state and out of country came to visit for Comic Con and Anime Expo. You guys have all made my days brighter, so thank you and I love you all

!

. Dino, Ross, Faye, Adrienne, Skraggy, Nalem, Spanio, Fernando, Ego, Tomar, Jaxxy, and all of my new friends at the Midwest house: You are all irreplaceable and I'm lucky to have you guys as friends

!
So, recently, I made a trip up the coast with my parents. For a week, we road tripped from Southern California to Seattle, Washington. I had a great time chilling out in the back seat as we rode up the coast and stayed in random towns (the only one I remember from California was Eureka). Towards the middle of the week, we reached our first major tourist attraction, Crater Lake, which I uploaded a panoramic picture from. Though what I liked most was the bad ass bear shaped shot glass I picked up from the gift store

. My mom was freaking out from the heights, so we didn't spend a whole lot of time at the scenic mountain views.
When we hit Portland, I met up with a Knight Block, a SheezyArt member. At first we got the hotel location confused, but we met up eventually

. We walked a little bit around the area, and then we decided to go to Baskin Robbins before parting ways

. (The picture of us is on my dying laptop drive. I promise I'll get it soon!)
Also, in Oregon I went on the Hellgate boat tour. It was about 100 degrees outside, which made it perfect for a river ride. The Hellgate tour was a (I believe) 40-50mph boat ride in Grants Pass. The tour guide was really funny, and we saw some beautiful scenery and cool wild life (I saw a bald eagle in the wild for the first time, w00t!).
Maybe Oregon was just so bad it made Washington look really good, but once we hit Washington, roads straightened out, we were allowed to pump our own gas again, and we had cell phone reception. Washington has a nice mix of cool cities and nature :}. We made our way up to Seattle, but first we stopped by Mount Saint Helens. About 15 miles from the mountain, we stopped by a helicopter tour center. Just as we arrived, all of the tourists left, so after picking a "package" (a ride over the blast zone), the pilot said "Alright, let's go!" And we were off the ground in less than ten minutes

. The helicopter ride was amazing, and the view of the mountain and the blast area was incredible. It was pretty expensive, but it was a once in a lifetime ride, and it was well worth it.
After reaching Seattle, I hung out at the hotel with my parents for a bit. Since they wanted to just loaf until the next day, I headed over to Kylee's soon-to-be lake house to meet her and her family, and hang out. It was a bit shocking how friendly everyone was, even though I didn't know half of them. After loafing in the hot tub, we headed back to her current house, and I couch surfed for a night. The next day we met back up with my parents in Seattle, and we headed out to the Space Needle and the Ride of the Ducks. The Blue Angels were flying around the city while we were up in the Space Needle, which was an awesome coincidence

. The Duck ride was also awesome, because we got to quack (Kylee bought some quackers LOL) obnoxiously at innocent bystanders on their morning jogs.
I spent the rest of the week at Kylee's house, hanging out and having random lulz

. As payment for letting me stay over, I spent the first few days fixing their computers XP. Throughout the week we did random stuff, the most memorable of which was riding motor bikes in Kylee's back yard with her and her brother. We also went out to the lake house and got chinese food with her friend Aretha. While Kylee was out at class, her bro and I played some Call of Duty 4. I made sure he played some MANLY games and not HALO 3 <<; >>;. During the week, Kylee and I hijacked her dad's Ironhide truck and went to watch GI Joe, which was awesome (the time, not the movie

). And, of course, we spent the last night staying up watching movies, and NOT sleeping at all, lol.
Overall the trip was great. I got to spend some time with my parents, without my moody sisters (I love them, but...yeah

). And Kylee's family made me feel very welcome and at home. I miss them all :{ </3.
In other news... Dai helped me get an interview at Geek Squad, 20 minutes from here

. After a computerized application and personality test, and 3 INTERVIEWS, they said they were impressed and wanted me to start this week

. I had to take a drug test first, so once the results come in I should be good to go. THANKS DAI!

. I'm also probably going to move into the Midwest house with Ararar, Dai, Adam, Jonella, and Infy :d. Woot! The only thing I don't like is that I'll have to wear a suit every day to work, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Geek Squad uniforms look pretty slick.
In other other news... We got a new puppy! She's a little black miniature poodle. My parents named her Misha, but my name for her is Bulbatron,

(cred. to Kylee for that...lol). Next week I'm going to start teaching her to come to her name, and to "DO A BARREL ROLL!" Win.
