So yay, my week at 's went by without too much fuss (besides some exclusion from a game of Dungeons n Dragons on the basis that I wouldn't understand the rules in a short time). Got into San Diego on Tuesday in a swanky hotel, which has a lovely little pool and whirlpool tub. Was a bit of panic when I realised I left the stylus for my Bamboo tablet I brought for overseas work behind, but thankfully I got away with a "I'm gonna work your ass when you get back".

Yesterday I decided to go to San Diego Zoo which, despite its curious absence of penguins, is an AWESOME place. Just seeing all the monkeys, orangutans, gorillas, meerkats, polar bears, elephants, etc do their thing is just amazing. Plus the sea lion show they put on was great, complete with flying mackaws and a frikking big condor. Swell. Ended that day with a highly posh Surf n Turf (tenderloin steak and lobster tails) that was yummilicious.

So today was the first day of Comic Con. Naturally, first place I head to once I find the exhibit hall is the Newgrounds/Behemoth booth, where I tried out Game 3, and said hello to a few people who recognized the good ol goggles. Twas here that was a generally returning point to a lot of the Sheezy people, including and more. I spent most of the day perousing the videogame end of the hall, trying out games like Brutal Legend (swell), Bayonetta(hot shit), Lost Planet 2(shiny), Tekken 6, Sonic All Star Racing (complete with Super Sonic Bird-flipping) and various oddities (I'm ashamed to say I enjoyed Wii Cheer). I managed to get an autograph from Tim Shafer, who enjoyed the little sketch I doodled for him whilst in the cue, as the well as the producer guy for Ace Attourney Investigations. Hoping tommorow I can get one from Bryan Scott Lee O'Malley (Scott Pilgrim series). We ended the day with a lil trip to Borders followed by a trip to TGI Friday's. Looking forward to tommorow. :D
