Anime Expo was actually pretty cool, despite being filled with thousands of totally uncool people. I guess that's what made it so cool. You know what I mean.

Anyway, I met

and his friend Derrick, and we spent the day walking around the hell out of the place, which murdered my knees and ankles. We spent most of our time in the giant room full of merchandise booths, looking at the overpriced stuff they had. Ryan got some action figure that came with about a dozen interchangeable hands, which he managed to spill all over the floor upon opening the box. Derrick bought a toy DBZ scouter (so he can measure people's POWER LEVELS) for $20, which is a total bargain for something that looks just like the kind of toy one would receive with a McDonald's happy meal. I found the most amazing thing ever and I just had to buy it:
