I admit it... I’m addicted to Water Warfare on the Wii. I never particularly enjoyed FPS games much at all... so maybe it’s the non-gory-ness of this title which has me so enthralled. I dunno what it is... but I am addicted to this game.
I’m also holding the ranks of top #4 in the country... owing most of that to the fact that I started so early in the game’s release. I wanna maintain that title though, but it’s getting harder... Before there were so few people playing the game that it was easy to be #1 or #2... but as more and more people start playing and as I don’t have that much time to play, my rank is in jeopardy! Lol.
Here’s the thing... Aside from GoldenEye 64 back in the day, I haven’t really played any FPS games at all. Does anyone have any advice for me? Seem to me that no matter what I do, everyone else around me is a better shot than me, can knock me out with a wimpy weapon even though I have the “best,” and they seem to be able to find me quicker too. Even on teams I tend to be the first one to loose all my lives. Sigh.. It’s rather discouraging if I must say so...
So yeah... anyone got any tips? Also does anyone else have this game? The people on the GameTrailers forums are “too cool” to play this game, even though it’s a lot of fun. I can’t find anyone to add to my friends lists.

aim for the easiest to hit part of the body. Try to control how far your cross hair goes so you don't over/under aim on them. Spray n pray on a full auto weapon. On a semj auto pick your shots.

I haven't played that particular title, but here's some good general FPS advice: learn how to aim and shoot while moving side to side/strafing to dodge attacks. Hmm, I don't know if you can strafe in Water Warfare... but you can in most FPS games.

man there seems to be no way of becoming number one on these things.. its like no matter what game it is (small or large) there will be a stream of people who dedicate their lives to being the best. Its much better to just enjoy the game rather then aim for the top ranks in my point of view.
