How in the hell is GameTrailers.com able to export 10 minutes of footage as a 100MB sized Quicktime video WITH audio?!
I got a 2 minute long animation (no audio) and it's well over 4 gigs - hardly small enough to put on the web.
So the 1 million $ question(s) is (are):
In After Effects / Premiere...
What settings should be used when exporting videos for the web AND/OR for future editing?
Quicktime & Windows Video (avi):
- What compressors are the best for video and audio? Looking for highest detailed video and audio settings for the smallest possible file size.
- Should the resolution be smaller or remain in its original form (i.e. from 480p to something lower)?
I was able to create a 28MB video of said animation straight out of Flash using AVI, MPEG-4; and the video/audio quality was virtually identical to the original source work. But that was in flash only, not AE or Premiere...
I spent the past 5 hours creating hundreds of gigs, trying the best combination of compressors and whatnot, and nothing seems to work out... Help?
