An update on the Furry Weekend Atlanta debacle:

Apparently dropping the words "felony theft charges" into their Live Journal group woke up the board members. One of them finally contacted me. Their excuse is that their Art Show Director bailed on them in the midst of things and left them with a disorganized mess. It would have been nice for them to let ALL the artists know that. I wouldn't have been getting so pissed if I'd known that.

They say the art will be shipping back this week and that I should have it in hand by the 16th. My contact with the board says that if I don't have it by then, they will personally drive to Atlanta and pick up the box to ensure it gets in the mail to me. Let's hope they keep their word because I'm definitely running out of patience for the matter. I'm debating on whether I want to give them a second chance next year. If they have an art show again, it would be someone else running it, after all. I think the deciding factor will be sales and the condition of the art upon its return. If it's whole and unharmed and we've sold anything, I might be more willing.

At any rate, I'm home sick with what appears to be some sort of stomach bug. Blech! I'm tired and cranky, so I'm going to log off Sheezy and just try to amuse myself until I can't sit up anymore.
