so since i stopped frequenting this place, i've come back to see the retard crit revolution and awe.

let me quote a particular journal to enter my useless internet opinion on this:
"My art is like writing, I usually don't catch my own mistakes. Is anyone else like this or does anyone care about those things otherwise?"

this is such BULLSHIT i can't even.

you kids are saying you SHOULDN'T have to look at YOUR OWN WORK critically. you imply you SHOULDN'T have to catch YOUR OWN MISTAKES. you can't even fucking PROOFREAD for yourself? if you need someone to point out to you that you drew a broken fucking arm or used the same word twice in a row, you are a useless, lazy, incompetent MORON. an attention hungry MORON.

look after me and pick up my mess. murr. i can't be bothered to look at my own mistakes or think about my own art for myself.

fucking christ. you don't actually give a shit about doing your own art is all this endless pissing and whining asking for people to tell you how to DO YOUR OWN ART says. yes, take criticism well, but drawing is now a QUEST for criticism. it has REPLACED faves and watches--you're so fucking egocentric you need everyone else to think critically on your art for you. this isn't BETTER. you kids barely even know what criticism MEANS. you guys use the word so freely yet don't use it appropriately half of the time.

protip: your art is not worth the time so do it your damn self. you're not ENTITLED to criticism.
