Hey all.

Well it’s been a rollercoaster of a few months for me. And I’m not even going to go into that one in immense detail as there are some things I’d like to keep private.
On the whole, to put it in a nutshell, as many of you may already know, I’ve split up with my boyfriend of 3 years now for good.

I have been very angry, upset and disheartened at times and it’s made me feel very unsure about myself and my abilities as an artist.

I lost confidence in pencil crayon art (well pretty much all art) for a few months due to anxiety and stress in my life and I couldn't find it in my heart to even pick up a pencil.

I had to put everything on hold for a while, as I knew if I forced myself to do it, I would not only screw it up big time, but punishing myself and begin to hate art and drawing.
Not only that, but I’d be getting really annoyed at myself because things wouldn’t turn out the way I wanted them.
I was simply not in the right mind-set to do art at all.

Now, thankfully. I have my head held high.
I’ve learned to show myself a little respect and care and treating myself the odd time. (I bought *another* beautiful Swarovski crystal necklace because I just fell in love with it. A pretty dark red and shiny heart with devil horns, and hanging off it, a little devil tail ^^)
Not only that, on my days off work I try my best to look good doing things as simple as going out shopping.
I still love to wear red and I’m hoping to get rid of a lot of my old clothes and getting a completely new wardrobe. I like dressing up smart quite a lot now and I’m by far a vain person, but it takes me a lot of time and effort in order to look decent to someone.

Anyway, I’m sure you don’t want to hear all about that.
It was my mum's birthday last week and her, myself and my dad went out for a nice pub roast ^^ It was yummy!

My American McGee's Alice cosplay outfit is pretty much complete. All I need to add to the apron are blood splatters and blood on the knife too. I'm waiting on a new wig which I exchanged on an eBay store to arrive, then I can put the whole outfit on!

So who here is going to London Expo in May?
If you see me there and want to come over and say "Hi" don't be scared! I'm really extremely friendly, just tell me you've seen me on deviantART and I will give you a special hug ^^'

I had to wait to wear my contact lenses for a while as I went to the opticians last week and they told me I had a cyst in my eyelid.
Luckily, it's pretty much cleared up now, so I can wear make up and contacts again.

I’m planning a Cosplay meet in the centre of Manchester hopefully before London Expo… It's just a little informal meet really.

There is a video game exhibition at Urbis and I would love to dress as Alice and look around the exhibition in Cosplay!
I was thinking May 16th for those of you who have costumes. Even if you don’t have a costume you are still very much welcome to attend and meet us and chat and what not. If you are interested in coming please PLEASE comment or send me a note!

Well that’s it I guess. More art on the way once I stock up on my supplies of Black Prismas…
