Meh, I'm sitting here with hurting teeth and no money for the dentist. *sigh* Just did some work on a new piece called "Stardust". Arted out for the moment and trying to wind down for bed, so I decided to swipe 's lil journal thingy. I don't know what other people would deem "interesting", but here goes anyway.

RULES: List ten things that are interesting about your art and put it into your journal. Then choose 6 other deviants to tag so they can do this too. Put them into the journal and inform them that they've been tagged.

1. A lot of my tribal style art starts out as horrible, messy Sharpie marker doodles which are then scanned into the computer to be cleaned up.

2. A lot of the random ideas I end up making into art start out as doodles made while I'm on hold with insurance companies at my day job. I also do bizarre things like make mini slingshots out of office supplies while I'm on hold. LOL

3. I'm obsessed with eyeballs and draw them more than anything else.

4. Sometimes I make "accidental art" that comes about just jacking around with different brushes and things in an effort to learn how to do certain things in Paint Shop Pro.

5. I rarely leave my 3D art the way it is when it's freshly rendered in the program. I tend to paint, adjust, composite and do other things with it in Paint Shop Pro.

6. I used to paint with a mouse. I will NEVER do it again. Tablets RULE!

7. Some of my 3D pieces can take up to 3 days to completely render.

8. When I decide I just need to get my hands dirty arting, I'll do some abstract work on canvas, mostly using my fingers and acrylic paint.

9. I don't usually do line art when I make my digital art, but most of my acrylic paintings and other works DO start out with line art or sketching.

10. I will sometimes stay up almost the entire weekend working on art, sleeping only in 2-4 hour fits each day Friday through Sunday. (And then I end up dozing on hold at work the following Monday )
