So its a new year, *Yeah* (said with subdued exasperation). I guess it means a new start for me again. And boy have i started big.

First off a little primer. Anyone who knows me well enough knows i want to eventually make money off photography. Well this year, no matter what, im going to start making that a reality. As of January 1st, 2009, Invio Design is officially born. I have started on the long road of turning this dream, into a real life company.

I guess all those years of trying and failing at making a web design business are paying off now, cause as I now start to form my new company, its just like im going through the motions. Already getting ready to talk to an attorney to get the LLC set up, and working on the companies documents and legal papers as we speak (well... as i type and you read).

I have already gotten the basic of the companies identity down; a website, logo, font type, colors, basic ideas, styles, etc. For me this is all second nature as I have done it many a time for a web business, both my own and others. Lets just hope this one doesn't go the way of the dodo

In either March or April i plan on starting to look into a student loan to get the funds to start buying new equipment. Ill be paying for my college myself (decided to go in as an art major, with theoretical physics minor... don't ask) and just using the loan to get more then likely a Canon 1DS Mark III (as long as the loan is enough), and ill be using my hopefully paid off credit cards to get the lenses and accessories i need.

I know, i know, my XTi is really good enough to start this stuff off. But... why the hell not get one if i can get a big enough loan? Hopefully over the next month or so before work in construction pushes me away, I'll be able to get the website designed and hopefully coded, and the LLC established (doing it here in Texas, no need to do an out-of-state registration honestly).

Oh and as for my photography? Don't doubt I'll be practicing almost daily. Because of getting all this started, I've not gotten to finish editing and uploading all my new shots. There is about 25-30 new photos to upload in various states of readiness.

And check out the companies DA page for now, befriend it and tell me what you think of the logos and such.
