Well, I'm a pretty happy camper right now. I am happily plugging away at the shops for my very first client as an agent. is such a phenomenal artist. But, like many artists, the humble Gadroon has no head for business. So it made sense to me to offer my services in opening up that wondrous array of work to the world of merchandise and fantasy conventions here in the States. The offer was accepted and the contract signed. I got it back right after Christmas and went straight to work designing both the presence at Cafe Press and Zazzle and the merchandise images. I still have tons of work to do yet. Not only do I have more sections needing to be added to the shops, but I also have to format all of that up. Then I get to scout shows for the both of us for the upcoming year.

I've not had a lot of time to work on my own art for the last couple of weeks, but I don't mind. Working on cleaning up Gadroon's images for the merchandise is actually proving to be a bit of a break for me, strangely enough. And it is my way to pay it forward as the saying goes. You see, my best friend is also my devout art patron. She sends me funds to help with the expenses associated with the business of getting my art out to shows every month. So, having that wonderful resource, I decided I could share not money (because I have precious little with my medical bills) but my ability to run the business aspect of the art and my design skills.

So, now all you shiny people need to get over to those shops linked at the top of my profile and here at the bottom of the journal. Gadroon is very pleased with the work so far and that makes me happy. :) So now go look at all the pretties!
