David's leaving Doctor Who at the end of 2009.

He won the Best Drama Performance at the National TV Awards and although he couldn't be there to collect it (Catherine Tate did, and she was up for nomination), he was in an interval during Hamlet, (in the tux) and he says he'll be back in 2009, and DW will be returning properly in 2010, but not with me."

Yep I read this and nearly CRIED, Then I read a similar journa l...3-4..maybe even 5 times in fellow Whovians journals, the whole fandom is crying out now....and American fans don't even know.(Well I'm one but I'm talking to people who live in the UK So I know about it
