Life is Sweet - Chemical Brothers
Well, Shodarkhorn, a musician friend of mine here, has expressed quite a bit about the 'decaying' music population here on Sheezy. He's put out a standing call to attempt to put popularity on music again here, and this is my solution:
Musician Exposition, a new weekly project of mine that should expose awesome musicians and newcomers as well. Every week, I'll post up a journal very similar to this one, showcasing one or two current musicians, and then one or two really new musicians here on Sheezyart.
And thus, I'll give you my first installment.

Fox Amoore
Most definitely the most known, and due to that, probably the most popular musician here on SheezyArt. He was, until today, a Cast member supervising the audio section of the site.
Fox Amoore is now 24, and began teaching himself piano from age 5. He continued practicing and recieved piano theory lessons and singing training. He was offered a scholarship to a choir school, but instead had to immagrate to Scotland for personal reasons. By that time, at 10 years old, he had already surpassed the country's highest grading for Piano performance.
When he was 17, he completed his first symphony, done all on one keyboard, which was later released under his real name. When in college, he changed his industry name toFox Amoore.
He is currently involved in a number of differing projects, working as a full-time professional musician; he performs in touring/gigging bands, a cocktail pianist for corporate, weddings and live restaurant entertainment functions, a freelance composer with a professional home studio and also as an album & single selling artist.
His hishest goal is to become a Film Score composing, as well as soundtracks to large scale commercial Video Games.
Fox Amoore is identified in his pieces by their orchestral feel, their 'epic' feel, and the amazing choir used, as well as his signature piano.
My Personal Favorites: Beyond Good & Evil Soundtrack, Zelda MPS V: Master of Time

Shodarkhorn
As the one who instigated this feature, I thought Shodarkhorn should be on the first of them.
Shodarkhorn is 32, and working awfully hard right now to keep his internet running and place paid for. He's very correct speaking, and tries to upload whenever possible. After an, um... incident a while back, he wiped his gallery clean and has since been putting tracks back up, however slowly. His ambitions are to write movie music one day, and to repopularize music on Sheezy. His projects involve Dark Kitsunes, Skylanders, Dream Tracks, Legends of Stanza, and the Sheezy Collaboration.
In his music, Shodarkhorn also uses a very sophisticated choir, as well as the 'epic' feel. He uses strings incredibly well. In his Dark Kitsunes, he uses violin as his primary melody instrument. In Skylanders, he uses a variety of instruments to try to invoke a 'classic RPG' feel. Dream Tracks are based upon already popular themes, such as Tekken, Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy.
My Personal Favorites: Dream Tracks: Final Fantasy, Call of Duty 4, and Tomb Raider(The last 2 are from before the gallery bomb), Original Tracks: Dragon Realm

Nyoseki
As the 'new' face on my first feature here, Nyoseki isn't really all that new to Sheezyart, having joined February 2007. However, as of a little over 2 weeks ago, he submitted his first music that he's written. He isn't watched by very many, but he has some premium people keeping tabs on him. The likes of Fox Amoore, Merina, ProudOne, and 3R2 wtach him, and AdmiralTigerClaw has persistantly commented on many of his pieces.
I can't truly say anything about his style, because until recent he had only copied others' melodies. However, his own piece, now named Fly, is nice and calm, if a little repetitive, and is a good place for his style to be going.
When promted on the topic, his response was:
"Most people would say it's just techno... but I've heard one of my close friends who I consider to be a future professor of music says that it doesn't follow the same lines of techno. For one it has solos and such. So I don't know what to call it."
I guess we'll just see how it develops :3.
Also, he uses the same desktop as I do.
My Personal Favorites: Fly, and Pokemon Red/Blue Gym Battle

Well, that's 3 artists for the first one. I hope I can get some support for this and help restart the music community, if only a little.
If you'd like to suggest a musician or make a suggestion, either comment or send me message. I check my updates daily.

Tell all your Sheezy friends about this feature! I'd like to not have done all of this work for nothing!

nyoseki Says:

Wow! Thanks for the feature! I'm really humbled. :3 I think this is a great idea, and I think that this should become amazingly popular. :3 We need more musicians on sheezy. dA doesn't have the music support that Sheezy does, yet people aren't using it! Musicians of the world UNITE! Come to Sheezy! Great idea. I know I'll be frequenting this page a lot in the future. :3 Btw, there's another couple of songs in the works, so keep an eye out for those in the not so distant future. :3 And they're both my own creations if you want an insight into my style.

Later days,

nyoseki

P.S. Thanks for the fav!
