As of October 19th, What used to be cartoon network's anime block for 11 years, TOONAMI, WILL GO OFF THE AIR FOR GOOD.
I understand all too well that their content quality has deteriorated horribly, but I think that this is EXACTLY why we need to put up a fight NOW.
I am pleading with all of you who give a crap to please CONTACT CARTOON NETWORK.
VOICE your displeasure (but don't get too off the handle, they'll only discard your feedback)
and Request that they KEEP Toonami!
And while your at it, EXPRESS your anger at them not haveing enough anime and DEMAND MORE ANIME ON TOONAMI
So please, if you care, please POST this to your profile, your blog, anywhere and everywhere that you can, SPREAD THE WORD,
I know that this may well fail, but we shouldn't let it go without a FIGHT!"

well sweety the problem is that they already made their decision and cartoon network still does show anime but it's on adult swim :[...it certainly is sad that their leaving after so long and it's such a bitter sweet memory of many of us. (my hubby and I were just discussing it) but I think one of the reasons they took it off was because the ratings weren't as high as the ones that come on at night because it's cut for the kiddies. Although, we'll voice our thoughts on the matter of memorabilia.
