Hey there guys!!
Well, I'm off to college tomorrow!
I so can't wait to get settled into my dorm
and to actually see what it's like first of all C: I leave tomorrow afternoon, which means I'll be around tomorrow morning to reply to messages and then that's it for me until I get an internet hookup in my room C: which I hope will be soon after I get settled :) So wish me luck! And pray that my future room mate won't be a theif D:
Besides that, my laptop totally hates me cause it's just one problem after another! First it forgets it has a disk drive, then it doesn't want to link me to the correct tablet driver.. and now my Photoshop is all screwed up! Okay, so here's the problem: All the brushes in the program are all making scattered strokes.. now everything was working fine before and I checked all the settings and things to see what the problem could be but it's still scattered and doesn't make a firm stroke with any brush!! And I've restarted PS and the computer and still the brushes are like that...
So if anybody can tell me how to fix this, then please do :)

You plugging the tablet into the usual USB port? Computers sometimes get confused if you plug stuff into a different port.

It sounds like when your tablet borked out, it replaced the brushes. Sort of as a "ghost sensitivity" set. There's a couple ways to deal with this,

Click on the brush > go to canvas > right-click > click on the arrow in the top right corner > click something like add brushes > select default/Classic/should be the first selection > then append. Append will add the brushes to your pallet list. Then just right-click/delete the screwed up brushes.
Or you could reinstall Photoshop. That usually means you'd have to reinstall the tablet. Then again, if the problem is the laptop, it may need to be serviced. Have you defragmented in awhile? It sounds like, and I could totally be missing the mark, that the USB drivers are messing up. You could always try getting an external USB connector and hooking the tablet up to it. Just leave the connector attached, so that the computer recognizes a port is there.
