Confused

Now that we have begun to understand much of the purpose and goings-on of the experiments, the projects will soon feel like something has to be done. It would be foolish to say that they won't attempt to prevent any more experiments from being made.

But just today I've had some contradiction in terms of the story's ending. While for a few months there was one ending in mind, another possibility just sprung out of nowhere with another interesting conclusion. And since I don't want to spoin things, I'll attempt to ask what folks would prefer in a general sense.

Would you prefer the end to be a little more serious and somber, perhaps tragic in a way?

Or would it be best to end in a rather unexpected yet clever and almost humorous fashion?

When I say the last one, I don't mean anything like R4ND0MN3SS! or excessively goofball.

Either end I think could work, although one has more potency of spawning a sequel (which I still have doubts of there being beyond a very short supplementary series). But which would you prefer?

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to perfect my attempts at drawing a Buizel. Or, Buoysel. Or, the otter-like thing with the life saver on his neck. You know the one. ;3
