I've just felt so crappy lately about my artwork. I haven't drawn a decent image since the beginning of August. Yeah yeah, I know it's artist's block. But I feel just completely miserable about my whole art stuff in general. I see so many people that are so much better than me that are sometimes even younger than me and it makes me feel like I've got no chance in hell to ever draw or make art for a living with people like that out there.
I've also questioned if I even LIKE art anymore. Well...making it. I sit here and sketch absent mindedly *horrible sketches mind you* and I realize...I have no fun. It's like smoking, it's a habit, not necessarily FUN to do. And so I wonder if it's always been that way for me. I've never found myself having tons of fun drawing or painting. It's just...I just...do it...not much thought put into it.
And aside from that my creativity is zip. I mean I guess I can draw, but drawing something original and new? SCREW THAT...cause I CAN'T. All my stuff is mediocre and boring. Everything looks used to me, and I am not unique. I haven't improved at all lately and I feel like I never will anymore. Am I in my prime? Who knows. But I sure as hell feel like that.

also! I feel the same way. I dont draw because its FUN. I just do it. More like i loose myself in it. I dont realize because i'm consentrating so much on it and its like... WE ARE ONE. lol. BUt really, i dont find it fun. Its just... something i can get lost in. You know? Its just... absent minded.
ALSO! about the creativity? I feel like that all the time. Thats why i EXPAND!!!!! Look at other people's work. Try to learn from them. Maybe something strange. OOH! Try studing tattoos of different culture! That helped me. OR maybe draw what happens to be right in front of you. RANDOMLY MIND YOU! Theres also choices of drawing OUTSIDE! Draw what you see and maybe add on to it.
I think this art block came from DRAWING TOO MANY PEOPLE!! Change ur subjects. RAWR!
Also. Remember what you said to me? "You dont lose your skillz, you just forget why you liked it." or something like that... =.= Art block sucks. I've got tones more tips on "how to defeat artblock" now.
