After listening to 500 Miles by the Proclaimers I began to think how much it would suck to walk 1,000 miles and fall down at someone's door step. Would you ring the door bell or knock or just simply fall over? Well, I suppose if you fall over you'd it your head on the door and if you don't die from it or develop a serious concussion then it may be worth it as someone may notice that loud thud, butwhat if you miss? The song said 'fall down at your door', not fall down on your door or what if no one's home? What if they're on vacation? Why when I type this do I hear George Carlin's voice saying it? I'm just saying if you're going to walk 1,000 miles just to fall down at someone's door you might want to call them first to give them some heads up that you'll end up face down. And if they don't offer to meet you at least half way maybe they aren't worth walking 1,000 miles to in the first place.
