Thanks to everyone for the converters and such. Strangely enough the one particular MP3 that I wanted to convert would NOT work in any of them, augh. I ended up just using Sony Vegas 8.0, should have remembered I could have used that in the beginning... But thanks again to everyone for the help and stuff, I really appreciate it.
(Plus I was an idiot and thought I needed WAVs, when I just needed to cut down the MP3s in length to make them shorter, and then I could use them as ringtones... orz it all works now though. Got a bunch of new anime ringtones, yay...)
Today has sucked so far. I went to bed early last night (midnight) to try to get extra sleep before my driving test today, and I ended up laying in bed wide awake for two hours.. what a pain. I hate irregular sleeping schedule, wonks you out completely.
So yeah my test went really good except that I got unlucky and got a bitchy instructor. =__='' She said I did everything extremely well, except I made one
small mistake, and thus she failed me. Ugghh.. She had me turn left, and I slowed down to make sure no one was coming (you never know if someone's running a red), and while doing so the light turned yellow on me, so I stayed put. I was on a crosswalk, and bam! Failed the test. She said I know how to drive really well and she could tell I was comfortable, just that one damned thing. I seriously had NO marks on my evaluation sheet, NONE at all. She labeled the crosswalk standing as a "Dangerous maneuver" (Critical Driving Error part, can't get anything marked there), thus failing me.
You've no idea what anger I have stored within myself right now. No idea.
She didn't even have me do parallel parking. UHiuawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww *explodes into a bloody mess*

Something like that happened with me on my first driving test; there's this tight crossing outside the railway station in town and the traffic flows through at snail pace. The lights are right above your head so you can't see them when you stop too close to them. So the traffic in front of us moved on, and I started to slowly accelerate and all of a sudden my instructor put his foot on the brake and told me to look up. Red light = major.
I was on my way back after driving flawlessly as well. I passed the second time around on the day before Christmas Eve.
Oh another thing I forgot about conversion - try downloading audacity, select 'mono' or something like that, and you can record whatever music and sounds you can hear onto audacity. This also allows you to to compress the sound properly...yeah, 16 bits kinda takes the 'mic'

AAAAGGGHHH! That's so frustrating! My friend failed her driving test because she refused to reverse while the instructor's seat belt was off. It was only afterwards that she found out that the only time you're allowed to drive with your seat belt off is while reversing. lol

aww man, that sucks. DX when I took my driving test I didn't parallel park very well at all, but the guy was nice and didn't think I did bad or anything. ._. aw.
D: is there a way I can get Sony Vegas for free somewhere? my High School had it for our video class and I really like that program.

That sucks, I can understand how frustrated you'd be as i'm sure something similar will happen to me (something silly I forgot to do, etc). Good thing in my town we don't have traffic lights

Here, you do parallel parking and parking first with the instructor outside the car. If you can't do parking right, they won't even get in the car with you. That really sucks for you, though - our driving tests are run on points systems. So many infringements (or one major one) and then you fail. I got two points during my parallel driving - hitting one of the cones and going over the line while hitting it. Which is okay, because were it a real situation, I would have just gone up the curb a little.
