Channel Cat doesn't get a pay check, he gets nothing from this site. Can you imagine spending weeks of your life coding a fucking site only to have people bitch about little things.
So instead of complaining, why not go code your own art site, because rememberer thats what he did.

Actually, you can only choose not to view taglines. This means that others will still see a tagline on your icon, even if you turn this option off.
CC hasn't touched this site other than to add retarded and useless "features" to it in forever. He's had more than enough time to code a functional search engine.
Also, this new feature already existed, he just extended it to every user and slapped in some GUI for us. It took him probably 5 minutes, maybe 10.
