Ok so whats with everyone hating on good animes just because it happens to be popular and defending crappy to mediocore ones. Doesn't that just mean that the quality of that anime is probably very high in either story or art design? I have this friend who won't be mentioned by name who happens to be one such person.
Absolutely refuses to enjoy an anime because its a new popular item. For example Naruto or Bleach, these two animes are like taboo to her.
I don't get it. Neither do a lot of my friends. We talked to said friend a few times about this and all she can really say about it is "just cause" or something to that effect.
And who the hell decides whats popular enough to hate? Cause this friend is a huge Death Note /Inuyasha fan too, so is there some kind of double standard or is it all just bull? Do they go to secret meetings? Is there a cult out to banish all good animes from the mainstream? Really someone explain this to me please.
