So, saturday we packed up everything in the u-haul and headed down to Castle Rock to our new apartment. Everything up to that point had gone fairly smoothly. Upon our arrival we found out that our apartment wasn't ready yet...EVEN though the apartment's paperwork and our paperwork had move in for the 14th, the cleaning wasn't scheduled properly and had us down for a move in on the 21st. LAAAME. So Scott went to go check it out to see if we could get away with it not being cleaned. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The apartment smelled of dog and dog piss. Gross. There were streaks of piss stains in the carpets that the dogs frequently used as a bathroom. Just plain disgusting. The people "in charge" [the manager was out of town for the weekend] were very hesitant to let us move our stuff into the apartment anyway and just have them clean around it. They did however finally bend and let us move it all in. Wtf else were we supposed to do? Go back to Frederick?! Grrrr. I became so anxious by this point my nose started bleeding. The apartment mishap mixed with having to separate the two cats into two different vehicles cause they were fighting and highly distracting my driving, and nearly having a lady in a blue boat hit me because she wasn't paying attention to who was in the lane next to her.

Ugh.

We're staying with Josh and Qing for now in their little condo. It's been rather pleasant though...so at least that's good. If everything goes to plan we should be able to settle in on Thursday.
