I've been an official dog groomer for at least 3 months now.

Sometimes it is really fun. Especially when it's time to clean up and you can play with the dogs or when you are grooming a good dog.

But grooming is not always fun or...how shall I put this?...rewarding?

Sometimes I will work my butt off on a grouchy, bad, dirty, and stinky dog that will fart in my face while I'm grooming it or will try to bite me or will sit when I need it to stand. They also wiggle a lot. *sobs*

And then guess what? I won't get a tip at all! And then I want to yank out my hair and throw a ball of dog hair at the owner when they say that they don't like it when that is what they asked for!!!

It's so tiring.

But when I get a good dog that behaves and the owner tips me nicely (tips can go from 2-20 $ from one owner), I want to dance and give the owner and their dog a big hug!

But at least I have a job and my boss and co-workers are kind to me and are very helpful and supportive.

So what I'm trying to say to all of you, is that sometimes your life or job can really suck, but at least you have one. And don't forget that there will be good moments too and that people love you and care about you.
