Anyhoo, here's mah summer journal!

Update: Drawing, Painting and that sort of thing . . .
No sketching right now. Some facial practice -all of which makes me feel rather useless -, but no real sketching.
Some painting-- I'm interrupting my portraits to do a full body shot, which I'm not sure I'll upload. It makes for good shading/coloring practice, but if I don't like it much, I probably won't upload it. But if I finish it, but still don't like it, I'll put it in my WIPs.
If it does come out nice, I'm contemplating bringing the finished painting into MS Paint and pixeling it or something like that. I always have fun in MS Paint, as long as I know what I'm doing. xP
TO COME-- More sketching, more portraits, pray for full body shots (because my incompetency suggests you may never see them ), possibly fanart, possibly animal-type stuff (NO ANTHRO-whatchamacallit type stuff-- ICKY!). Yup yup.

Update: Writing
It's all good.
Really, all I have is a few more fight/suspense-ish scenes left and the first draft will be done.
Then, I can just CHILL out for about a month, and come back to the worst piece of writing crap in the history of writing craps! But not to worry, I should be able to mold it into something pleasing. For me, writing is more about having fun than sweating it. Because first drafts rot. I expect that. Don't get the wrong impression-- when I write I want what I write to be understandable and enjoyable.
But, I'm actually looking forward to the second draft.
At the moment, that is.
