Yeah o___o My buddy, Pearse, gave me a comment on my most recent artwork that made me realize it. Here it is.
"Seriosuly it really annoys me that this is not on the frontpage : ("
And while I'm not exactly sure that it was frontpage material(cause my backgrounds fail and whatnot), I'm almost positive that it was one of my best pieces. Shouldn't it have more comments? It seems that lately my artwork isn't pleasing anyone :I and when I don't get a good response, it kinda makes me upset.
Why do I have so many watchers that don't even look? You guyyyys. Comment, fav, rate, whatever. Give me a sign that you even LOOK at my stuff @____@ I rate EVERYTHING in my inbox at least.
Cause I haven't been feeling confident about my art lately...

on my old account i have almost 100 watchers... and i BARLEY have had any comments... like maybe 20 messages a day and thats it... even know....i barley get any comments on my art, even tho its a couple of watchers... but it WOULD be nice once in a while for someone to comment >>; i know how you feel
but i liked your newest submition O: ... i commented =D ,... i thought it was pretty and sexy

I do know how you feel really, pretty sure most people have watchers who don't even seem to exist. Oddly, the AUP club was an attempt to bring unknown artists into the public...but then we have members who don't comment at all so that seemed a bit odd...
I haven't commented on your work yet as i have a backlog on my updates, trying to get through them though.

im about 5 years behind but i know how you feel ive been in the same sit but when i draw somthing say poo it gets loads of favs (wth) but my watchers never comment (my time is also limited where i need to be poked alive with a stick) but you are a brill artist :3 i wouldnt be watching you if i didnt think that

My biggest issue is that I'm usually pretty brain dead, and I tell myself that I'll give big mushy comments when I'm more on top of things, allowing me to neglect my friends' art for literally weeks at a time. When I do actually have the right of mind to say something insightful it's like... Way too late, you know? O_o;; I'll try my very hardest to comment on all of my friends' pictures from now on, especially since it's summer again. So, sorry. >_<

You know I don't comment alot on anything on artsites but I do on yours because I think you're the only one doing anything different and original plus you've got style which a lot of people don't have, just pisses me of that you're penalised for not doing fanart and generic cell shaded shit. It's just how this site works, the moar watchers you have the moar likely you are to get idiots who + and fave, I could name names here but I don't want to because some artists on this site do the same thing over and over again (Myself included xD) who end up on the front page for some half assed piece of crap. It's very annoying :( but keep going hugsy coz you are loved by me!

But its got nothing to do with your work, I bet if it were a naruto or uh... some other really popular concept everyone likes it'd be front page in no time, cause unless you're a professional with skills up the butt or get lucky with some REALLY funny flash, its the only way to make front page.
I made front page for 4 seconds with a BATCLAM animation once, and I'll never see it again.

It's doing the same thing to me, I have a lot of watchers but almost no one comments my art... ( but you always do 
!!!) I too feel depressed when i don't get a lot of comments, because of that i don't come on sheezyart very often...But believe me, your art has an original style that makes it very pleasent to watch! And I love it
