My cat, Yoda, went to the vet early
Tuesday morning because all of a sudden
he could not see. His pupils were fully
dilated, even in the brightest room.
Needless to say, I was extremely concerned.
The vet ran several tests Tuesday and
Wednesday to figure out what was going on
with him. This afternoon, the vet called
and asked me to come in for a consultation.
This made me even more worried and scared.
The vet said that he had gotten a hold of
something toxic, and that it was affecting
his nervous system. He said he could keep
Yoda there, or I could take him home.
I asked him if he thought that Yoda could
pull through this, and he said that he
honestly did not know.
Well, Yoda is home and living in a box
for now. He can barely sit up. He can't
move his hind legs or his tail. I have to
hand feed him, and he's barely drinking any
fluids. He can't even get up to go potty.
He just lies there and does his business
and doesn't even realize that he's pottied.
Yoda isn't quite 8 months old. We bonded
the very first day that we found each other.
All I'm asking from everyone is your thoughts
and prayers for Yoda. I'm hoping and praying that
he pulls through just fine. But if things turn
for the worse, at least I know that he was loved
and had a joyful and happy life.
Thank you, everyone, for having the heart
to read this through.

I'll be praying.
JellyFish Says:
I've been praying since Mizu told me. The poor little thing, I really wish I could do something to help. I have been praying and will continue to pray that he pulls through. Although I've never seen him, he's my favourite cat. And I hate it when animals have to go through this. But I really hope that there's some improvement.
