On Sheezy and DeviantArt, I'm known as Nilessa. On my own website and in real life, I'm known as Kiwi or Kiwi-chan. My real name is Ceilidh, but... good luck pronouncing that.
I've been thinking about this for a long time, but getting no real answers. I need a new online name. There are a billion Kiwis and Kiwi-chans and InsertNameHere-chans out there. Nilessa is the name of one of my old characters, and I greatly dislike her, because she's a slutty little slut thing and I don't want to be associated with that name any more. I've considered switching to Kiwi Lemons, but that's not much more distinctive either.
I need an online name that's original and recognizable, preferably short, something that might actually make people think "Oh, she's an artist!" No -chan, no being named after something as common as kiwi birds or kiwi fruit or people from New Zealand... Something that, when looked up on a search engine, would yield only one result: me.
Any ideas?

That's a pretty tall orderyou're asking for, but I'll try to think of something.

How about just going with your real first name? It's lovely, and who cares if it takes a moment to pronounce? I've never seen your name anywhere before, and if you use that online, you can be recognized with your unique name. :3

I mean. I've seen many popular artists in experiences on SA and dA who have names that are tough to pronounce.

Look at your work- what do you work with the most? Come up with a phrase, and look at that phrase in other languages. Mutate it as needed. ^^ It's how I went from Flamepaw to Kori. ~
Good luck~!

I used TomPreston because that was (geek alert) my made up star-trek name I used when I was a kid trying to make star trek movies. lol. I dunno... i've thought about changing my name at times too, but i use it so often... it's just easier to keep it ya'know?
