I never realised, until only a few weeks ago, how controversial the Zapruder film was.


Even with the events happening long before I was born, I find it fascinating how the film is claimed not to be genuine, and how it has been made of composite frames.
I don’t know why it has fascinated me so much, perhaps due to the fact that I would never have believed such film editing to have taken place in the early 60’s.

I am, of course, talking about Abraham Zapruder, the man who filmed the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

I first watched it on TV years ago, but it was only until a few weeks ago that I became interested in the alterations of the film itself.

I believe that the film has been edited, had frames put in and left out, had backgrounds meshed with the foreground, etc. And one of the main reasons for doing so, was to trick people into thinking that the limousine did not stop. But small things in the film show, of course, that it did.
It would have put the President and other passengers in the car in great danger if it were to have shown being stopped. They did not want this information to be shown to the public. Of course, eyewitnesses had clearly stated that it stopped.

I also found it interesting how Kennedy’s bodyguards were told to stay behind, when really they should have been following JFK’s limo- as to which he might have still been alive after the event.

I believe it’s all a big cover-up. The Zapruder film, in my opinion, was clearly edited before it was shown to the public (be that years later).

Of course, we will never see the original film, but it would solve many questions and bring up new ones, if we saw what originally took place. I am one of those people who would be very interested to see the film in its genuine state. I know it would show the limo stopping, amongst other things.
Maybe it would show things that conspiracy theorists have never even thought of.

Either way, it would give us the truth.

And have you seen JFK’s autopsy photograph? That too, does not look genuine. Where is the huge wound on the side of his head?

I feel like a CSI, wanting to solve a murder case.

I’m sure I am not alone, but from my point of view, I know there are many other people who want to see the truth.
Of course, I am not American, but I am sure many of you who are will have your own opinions as to what happened and the views on the film and I’d love to read your comments on this very interesting, but I think, “unsolved” case.
