Zero- Born into a zoo, when the zoo went under he was sold to a traveling circus, since he was a rare white and black lion, at the circus he was beaten, abused, and neglected,. but as it was all he ever knew he felt an unconditional love for his keepers,. stockholm syndrome,, his name wasnt actually Named Zer0, but rather he was located on the Z row, and he adopted the name himself. Despite all that he endured with his living conditions, he never retaliated against his maltreatment. not realizing the fury building within him.. one of the stops that the circus made was in africa,. where he met Riz. although Zer0 now knows that Riz was a figment of his pent up anger, he ultimately helped Zer0 in his escape. Riz would open Zer0's cage, and wreck havoc throughout the circus in the night. Leading to more and more punishment on Zer0, until Zer0 grew to hate Riz. finally Riz opened the cage and egged Zer0 on until he couldnt take it anymore. Zer0 chased Riz through the camp, into his keepers tent. It was too late until Zer0 realized what he had done, the keepers were dead. He fled from the camp,. running for miles. until he stared off into the sun. and heard the words of Riz in his ear. "Zer0, you are free.." he never saw Riz again after that,. Eventually in his travels through the savannah he met Aranum, and was welcomed into a pride of misfits.

Personality: Loving and kind, yet a bit stand offish and shy/quiet. he doesnt anger easily, but when he does its like a solar flare, hot and untamable. but subsiding quickly.

Aranum's Story:
Aranum, is a were-chion. wtf is that you ask? well, the story is, aranum was a cub of the sun pride (hence the sun mark) who were friendly with the local cheetahs. a rouge liger came into their territory one night and killed the cheetahs in cold blood. the angered cheetah spirits where dissorientated and attacked the sun pride, killing all but ara, who was almost an adolescent at the time. Ara was bitten and cursed, but escaped. when the spirits calmed and realised what they had done, they found ara and led her to a leopard who they knew would take care of her.
The curse meant she turned into a viciouse were-chion every full-moon, half cheetah half lion, which killed any lion it met without control.(much like a werewolf with humans) anywho, this is ara the outcast misfit. she spends most of her time hunting that rouge liger that caused her family to die.Also, as a result of the curse, her life is lengthened
yea. um. she also has an obsession with licking people :: and she was actually born about the same time as Mufasa Because of the curse she was an adolescent when simba was a kid and then full grown when kovu and Kiara were, so that gives you an idea of how lengthened her life is

Unique Traits:
A deep blood red colored female lion with two black front paws, two black toes on her left rear foot, and one black toe on the right rear foot; black tail tip, ear tips, and pure white claws. Her canines are so long that they resemble those of a saber tooth tiger, and her left ear has a chunk taken out of it. There are two scars on her face, long lines extending from the beginning of her jaw to just before her mouth, and these are white, very old scars. She has two feathers tied to her tail, attached to the part of her tail just before the tip hair begins, hanging from a gold ring. The feathers are bright turquoise, with bits of green and black around the tips. She has the mark of Akoben on her left haunch. Her eyes resemble the eyes of Horus, and she wears an ankh. She also has a snake tattooed on her around her right front leg.

Kanika's Story:
She grew up in Lower Egypt, a part of a tribe known as ‘the snake’. The snake was always stealing the food of the humans in Cairo by tricking them into thinking they were entertainment lions by using their colorful body paint and stolen jewelry. When a plan went wrong and her parents were caught while stealing camels to feed the pride, she was framed for their murder when the other lions became blinded by grief and looking for a scapegoat. They scarred her cheeks to make sure that they could identify her if she tried to come back, and to mark her as a murderer. Soon, all the lions in Egypt knew about ‘Kanika the Wicked’, and she was forced to leave her home country. She moved into the lower countries in Africa, hunting for herself. She’d always preferred the honest way of getting food anyway. After wandering the wastelands for a while, she became weak, but was saved when she came across an oasis. Now, she’s just trying to find someone that can help her.

3. Strange connection with the natural environment, he is first to sence a change in the weather and the vegetation about where he makes his home seem to thrive unusually, growing fast and well as if in response to the lion's presence.

Briar's Story:
Briar was born to a unique tribe of lions called the Viscaza that made their pride territory on the outskirts of the jungle, extending to the plains. Humans had attempted to introduce tigers into the wild jungle in attempt to increase the populations numbers. The lions of Briar's tribe saw these individual felines as a threat and began to exterminate them, only a few survived to breed under the lion's wrath.
Poachers came, drawn by the Viscazas' unique coloured pelts and began to hunt them. Briar's mother escaped the slaughter and dissapeared into the jungle with her cub, she accidently stumbles upon a tigress and her own den. The tigress in search of revenge for her kind attacks, both mothers battle brutally and end up killing eachother off in their struggle. The solitary tiger cub Curry, in the den is left motherless along with Briar.
The cubs are left all alone, too young to undertand what happened they are picked up by a kindly Pantheress named Summer, she teaches them all they need to know about life in africa and the cubs become fast friends as they grow and learn together. Ignorant of their tribes hate for one another.
At the beginning of their adolescence the odd looking feline family is cast apart when caught in a flash flood. Summer manages to get the tiger (Curry) to safty but briar is dragged swiftly downstream, he is carried far and almost drowns in the ensuing battle against the elements. Washed ashore in the plains area he quickly becomes lost and assumes his role as the renegade male, looking after himself and seeking out company. He finds and spends time with some normal lions, renegades like him who tell him tales of the tigers now wiped out by the lions and poachers. With bitter disgust he learns snatches of his past from romours and other sources found. Not baring to stay with these lions he wanders looking for others who might take him in dispite his outlandish beliefs and looks.

Abilities: running, quite a good hunter but doesn't enjoy it so much, protective, excellent fighter, great smeller, loyal, brave, would do anything for her ruler, doesn't take any crap

Nurus story: Nuru was born in a lab. A dead baby lion cub was taken by scientists, when experimenting for a new breed of animal. this was the 24601st go at it, and this was the first time they used an animal for a starting base. they took tissues from other big cats: lynx, tiger, cheetah, snow leopard, clouded leopard, leopard, jaguar, puma, and one white wolf. they put her in a tank filled with some substance, and watched her grow until she re awoke. She reawoke when she was a teenager. They gave her dog tags, so they knew her number. She loved humans, since it seemed as though she was raised by them. They named her Nuru, because it means light in swahili and she was the light of the future. they put her back into the zoo, which she bonded woth the lion pride, but she never really found her place because she looked so different, but one cub "monmai" beleived in her, Monmai was an orphaned cub and Nuru took her in and became very protective over her. Then one day Monmai had to be transferred to another zoo, and Nuru wouldn't let her go, she killed a couple of the zoo keepers and scientists who tried to take Monmai, and also injusred many people, and that's when they found out her power of flaming paws. The scientists decided that Nuru as too dangerous to have around, so they caged her up (that's how she got her scar) and dumped her, and she wondered for ages until she was found by the misfit pride. If there has been one thing she's learned form her past never trust humans

Sakari was born from a tiger and a lioness. When she was barely 3 months born, her parent got killed by hunters. Sakari was left alone and she didn't know what to do. She was pridless. She lived in the jungle and dared not venture outside the jungle boundaries. One day she found a human who gave her her tail ring and taughtt her how to talk human language.

Kaleb: It was…all a dream…a dream about me fitting in, who am I kidding... {She looks down and sighs, standing up straight on all fours and shaking}

{A yellowish orange sunrise fills the cave and up onto her face}

{She had awoken in the BlackLand pride’s cave, and only a very few lion and lioness’s were sleeping in there, Kaleb starting walking out of the cave when she heard a deep powerful voice}

Ebony :{ Interrupting} Kaleb, and where do you think you’re going at this hour, it’s nearly sunrise, {He gave her a stern but caring look}

Kaleb: I was only going out to view the sunrise father. {She said looking over and up at him, smiling}

Ebony: {hmm…He’s thinking}, Alright, but be careful and watch out for strangers, your not a very big lion, and I don’t want you venturing alone in the wild. {He said looking at her, then walking over to her placing his paw on her small head and smiling.} Come back before sunset dear. {He walked back off to his lair and laid down}

Kaleb: of course daddy, I promise you I’ll be back before sunset. {She nodded and then headed off.}

{Kaleb sets off into the sunrise covered wild}

{She walks through vine covered ground and beautiful flowers covering the vines as snakes slither through the vines and bugs of all sorts, beetles, worms etc.. crawling all around in and out of the flowers.}

{As she steps through the vines she is tackled to the ground by another lion.}

Ruki: Move Blacklander, were trying to play here. {He says staring down at her and frowning}

Kaleb: I have a name you know, and you don’t own this place so you can’t tell me what to do. {She yelled, feeling her face turning red from anger, she got up and dusted her self off.}

Ruki: {Smiling, and stalking around her} Well, I am bigger than you are so, blah {He sticks his tongue out at her and walks away laughing}

Kaleb: {She frowns and then a single tear rolls down her cheek}…. I don’t understand, why me? {She thinks of knocking over a pile of rocks}… Why is it that my pride is so different from the others, and why does everybody think were so different I am just like all the other prides…. {She thinks in her head as she looks down at the ground}

Background:
When Akua was born she was the runt of the litter. She wouldn't have survived either weren't it for the exceptionally strong love her mother carried for the blue cub. Her color couldn't be explained, not even by the wisest lion. Akua grew, but stayed significantly smaller than her brother and sister. She was a very good climber and stalker and that worked in her advantage. She could get the closest to a prey or jump on a wildebeest from a tree. When she was all grownup, she found a mate, Amari. He was a rogue lion and it was he who fathered Akua's cub, Rhaxma. Their time of happiness didn't last long, 'cause the male of the pride where Akua was born, would not tolerate this rogue on his lands and the two hit it of in a fight. Amari never stood a chance and was killed. The male of Akua's pride then turned on the few weeks old Rhaxma. Akua's mother pleaded on her daughter's behalf, but the lion would have none of it. Akua took the oppurtunity to grab Rhaxma and flee, knowing she would never again be accepted in a Pride. Her only love is her daughter and she would do anything to protect her.
But after months of solitude she meets a pride on the foot of a mountain, who show no immediate hostility. Have Akua and Rhaxma finally found a home?

Personality:
Akua is small, but her love and devotion to her daughter is admirable. She is also very protective. The lioness would take on an elephant to protect Rhaxma. Her trust has to be earned, but when earned she would cross a fire to protect.

Yoko's Story:

Yoko is like the mutt of the feline world. Her grandparents consisted of a snow leopard and a lioness who bred to produce a litter of snow leopons. These creatures were found so rare, one day a breeder from Egypt came and captured one of these kittens and as soon as it grew big, bred it with a domestic pure breed feline with an odd reddish coat.

The result of this mix was Yoko and her two sisters. Sadly, only Yoko survived as her sisters and father soon died of heat stroke and her mother was taken away from her.

Many years passed and Yoko grew big. Her fur grew out and it was a wonder she did not suffer the same fate her siblings did. Before long Yoko grew bigger than any known lion and every time she would go looking for a pride she would be chased away due to the fact she was bigger and stronger than the alpha and was a 'threat' to his rank.

Also Yoko was not a bit friendly towards male lions who wished to befriend her which made being in a pride somewhat hard. She seemed to stand out anywhere she went.

Basically Yoko's a big lioness like creature with a reddish and white colored coat with blue eyes who's strength, size, and agility seems to be her downfall.

Samria's Story:
She used to be a statue-esque gaurdian of an african village. a power to heal, and bring purity to the minds of her villagers. but one day when a group of bandits came and raided the village and began murdering the villagers, a little boy fled to her shrine beseaching for help from the attackers. just as he finished his prayer he was killed. as his blood was spilled on the shrine a rage was born within Samria, becoming flesh and blood, she killed all of the bandits,. but it was too late, all of the villagers were already dead. now she wanders through the savanah healing and helping poor travelers.

_'s Story:
Hes a very cheery character, not altogether brave though, extremely skitish.
He came about because his mother was raised by some rare carniverous Zebra, and when fully grown she found a zebra stallion as her mate.
He grew up happy and healthy in his zebra herd, accepted and loved. But a large pride of lions came into the territory, and an enourmous male took his mother by force and killed his stallion father. His mother was killed when she would not agree to be his mate, and stricken by grief and fear, the herd skattered, including Sepelin. It is not known where the carniverous zebra herd went or if they still survive, but sepelin barely made a living on his own, grazing tho needing meat, and evading the other predators who only saw him as a meal.
Until he came across the most peculiar lion he had ever seen. the first since his own mother not to see him as prey...

Tragedy’s in the genes…
For generations, something strange was happening to the pride. Even lions who came from other prides were mutating. Something was happening to the genetics of the lions, and it was shortening their life spans visibly. The only ones spared from early deaths were those gifted with powers, what usually would have ruined their lives had, instead, spared them a painful, slow death. And that was what happened with Ndizi. He was gifted with the powers of nature, a single thought, summoned with enough strength, was enough to save the life of any dieing plant even revive a recently wilted flower, keep a tree from rotting away. As he grew up, he discovered that none of the other cubs would live to adulthood, and he thought he would die too. But he had cheated death. And, to his amazement, so had another. Hoshi, a purple and blue hued lioness. Her powers were of the mind, little more was known of them. As the only living of their age group, it was only natural for them to grow close. Ndizi discovered he was even more unusual than he’d thought. His mane was almost defying physics to be so crazy, and its color and spiky length was one of the strangest things about him. How he could see was a mystery to most. Now, each generation lasted less time than the one before them. So, the parents and others that came before Ndizi and Hoshi died quickly in their primes, and the older lions faded away quickly too. Before long, it was only a single surviveing lion careing for the 2, the pride was long since its having any power over the territory. And, as they tried to hunt for themselves, the older lion was killed by a human hunter. Before long, the adolescent lion and lioness were driven away from their home, alone and different. They made one promise: To stick together no matter what happened. And so far, they’ve kept to that.

Awita's Story:

Awiti was one of the many test subjects in a strange lab near Nigeria.Pochers that were workers of the lab gathered a female owl with a male lion to see if they can splice it and what would happen if they were successful.Scientists took the lion and the owl to the splicing chamber,drew out some plans (that took 3 days),put them through some physical tests,and put them into a splicing machine.once the machine was finished,they opened the shmaber to see what happened.the lion aquired small wings,feathers that covered the top of its tail,owl ears,and a sex change.once they saw that she was mentally and physically stable,they put her through tests that were part of their planning.She failed most of them.She was yet not used to her new body and so she could not operate like she was used to.They found her a failed subject and dumped her into the wild to die.She wandered for days without food,getting used to the new features of her body.She found a small village that helped her,gave her a name and a tatoo.Awiti meaning "thrown away" to represent her being cast away by the scientists,and the symbol Nyame Nti meaning "by the grace of God" to represent her blessing of surviving in the wild.They let her go back into the wild,to find a pride to stay with.Unfortunatley,none of the prides she found didn't accept her.She wandered once again,and found the Misfit Pride.The leader accepted her and she has stayed with them ever since.

Savvy's Story:

Savvy was born into an undiscovered species of lion that was near the African coastline.Pirates came to the island just so they could stop sailing around and have an actual victory party without the swaying of the ship.Savvy and his family were having a little air break when the pirates came to shore.They left for deeper waters and completely forgot about Savvy.So some crewmen found him and wondered what to do with him.They presented him to the captain and he said (out of drunkenness) that they could keep him,and also named him Savvy.Years later,
his captain died and his last dying wish was to give his most treasured gun to Savvy.All the other crew members were a bit upset,but here's why.When Captain Matt found Savvy,he knew that he would get a good crewman out of him.Boy was he in for a surprise.When Savvy grew up he did everything his commanding officers told him to do.From swabbing the deck with the cabin boys to helping with loading the canons in battle.Once Savvy proved himself worthy,he got a tatoo of the symbol that was on their flag (it wasnt a jolly roger,that was on their sail).That tatoo meant that he was an official pirate/member of the Poseidon Lion's crew.After that he was guilded with many earrings (mainly on his tail fin) And even recieved a battle scar.When the captain became ill the first thing he thought was "If I die,I'll leave my gun to Savvy."Savvy was the most loyal crew member Captain Matt had.And he knew that if he dissagreed with something he would speak up (metaphorically,he doesnt speak english).And thats why he gave his gun to Savvy,because he knew that he would keep it in good hands.

Since the captain was dead the crew didnt know what to do.They kept sailing to their destination so they could think.Unfortunatly,a navy ship came to them and shot the ship down.The ship sank and the crew members were arrested.Except Savvy.He dove into the water to go find help,but he heard the ship explode and looked at the sinking reckage.Savvy was devestated.His captain was dead,his friends were arrested and were going to be hanged,and his beloved ship whom he served on all his life was now part of the ship graveyard.The Poseidon Lion was sailing to a village in South Africa for a base and hideout.So for three days he swam until he got to the village.Since he looked like a lion he hoped that he would find some help.He couldnt have been more wrong.After three days of nonstop swiming he spent another three days walking in the desert heat with barely any water.Before he was about to give up and fall over,he found an oasis.With the little strength he had,he ran to the oasis and basked in it.Apparently,one of the members of the Misfit Pride was near that oasis,saw Savvy,and rushed to see if he was still alive.It was Aurora,one of the leaders of the pride.She helped him up and took him to the pride.She said he would be most comfortable in the South Mark,since it had a pool and such.When he came into the South Mark,his first sight was Awiti,and he could tell that she was female,even though anyone else would guess that she was a male.They both fell inlove with eachother,and Savvy felt as if he could escape from the pain of his lost friends with her.He is still tormented by the loss of his ship,and is usually found at the side of the pool looking at his reflection.

Story:
She was part of a very religious pride of lions, who believed in two gods. One was the god of all things good (like life and healing and food and whatnot) and the other was the god of all things notsogood (like notlife and nothealing and notfood and notwhatnot). One day a nasty plague hit, and the lions asked the gods to give one cub the powers of good. So the gods did and the plague went away. Or so they thought... *dun dun DUN!* It came back. And this time it killed the cub with good powers. The lions asked the gods for another cub to be given good powers. The good god was like, "Okies!!!!111! X3" The notsogood god was like, "NU WAI!!!!111!! Liek, it my turn!!!!!11!! "
So the cub got the powers of notsogood instead. The gods called her Kijakazi, meaning 'your life is due to us'. The entire pride was wiped out by the plague, except for Kijakazi, cause the notsogood god wanted her to live and spread word of his ULTIMATE NOTSOGOOD POWAH!
She kinda dissappointed him though, so he stopped watching her. He was her original source of power, but after he left, her cursed eyes drew power from the life around her

Ellari's Story:

He was born of a regualar pair of lions, however, his pride was attacked by humans and Ellari was not able to escape.
Ellari was barely a cub when he was brought to an Animal Research lab and was experimented on.
Ellari's characteristics are results of these experiments, his DNA constantly being under genetic alteration.
Whilst he preserved the feline look Ellari possesses abilities from other animals which DNa were implemented on him.
He gained non-retractable claws, lanky built-body, and high speed from Cheetah DNA, Strong jaw, bite, and accute smell sense from wild-dog-based dNA, but he still keeps his lionine strenght, tail, and roar.
This genetic alterations had negative effects also. Ellari will never be able to grow a complete mane and will forever keep his ruff of hair running along his neck.
His body will stay the same, even though he's still a teenager in age, his body will never continue growing. His left eye is partially blind and he preserves a scar on his neck from one of his escape attempts.

One Day the research lab caught fire and Ellari got the opportunity to escape. However, he was extremely weak and fell unconscious near a tribal settlement.
The tribes people were not hostile and took him in. Ellari was too weak at that time to fend them off or try to escape, but the tribe people were kind to him and gave him his name, markings, and bracelets and nurtured him back to health.
Ellari however, could not forget the traumatizing events he was put through since he was a cub and once he regained his energy, he escaped the tribe, his fear and apathy toward humans growing slightly stronger as he ran away.
As he wandered he stumbled upon one rather bubbly tigon and her werechion companion, Sakari and Aranum. Saki bombarded him with questions and when Ellari decided not to reply to any of them, Sakari and Aranum opted to bring Ellari to Aurora, and thus, Ellari became part of the Misfit Pride.

Amadi is Zi's sister, they almost look like twins but there diffrant in alot of ways, Amadi is alot bigger and stronger, not that Zi isnt but shes like 2X times stronger then him and shes big like her mom but so is Zi, they both have to same symbol, thair tails have a longer tuft of fur that runs up there tail it helps them in the air,

Amadi grew up as a rogue with her mom, but decided to join the pride with her brother as they got older, there mom is fine with there choice, when she was growing up she spent alot of time with the pride anyway, along with Abrihet.

Personality: Cashile's real personality is often mistaken because of the evil glint often in his purple eyes. Some think he's an evil young cat, others think he's gay because of his coloring. But really, if they just got to know the poor guy, they'd find he was a rather laid back, yet kind lion. He can be picky and rather sharp if he feels you are acusing him, but he can really be a kind, friendly lion if you just get to know him!

Cashile's Story: Cashile was born in a normal pride. His mother was a beautiful dark tan lion, while his father had been killed supposedly by some strange disease. But Cashile's mother knew that the pride would never accept a lion that looked like Cashile. He was a deformed cub, with only three legs and strange colors. He was given the name Cashile because the simple reason he had to be hidden. Cashile's mother took him as a newbon cub away from the pride. She traveled quickly with him, teaching him everything he needed to know as soon as he was barly old enough.

But tradegy strook when Cashile and his mother were hunting. Cashile's mother was killed by a hunter, leaving the older cub alone. Cashile knew he would have trouble living without his mother, he still needed to learn much! He knew how to hunt, but one older cub couldn't take much down by himself. And he figured no pride would accept him with his odd colors and strange limp-run.

So Cashile tried to survive alone, continuing to travel looking for a home. Many prides chased him away, until Cashile grew into a cat that looked rather mean and dark. He was thin and the evil glint of anger would loom in his eyes day and night. That made him even more of a threat to normal prides, trying to kill him at sight.

Cashile is lucky to be alive. He has never had a friend aside from his mother. He is a rather shady figure from what he's been through. Now an adolecent, Cashile has lost hope of ever finding a pride to call home. Yet he doesn't let normal prides kill him, he flees. So there must be some hope in the adolecent male's heart.

zuri's Story: zuri grew up with her mother untill she was 5 when her mother passed away. it was very hard for zuri untill she found akoko when she was 6. akoko was an 8 year old lion who helped zuri untill zuri became stronger. then zuri and akoko adventured on untill they met the misfit pride!

Okoth's Story:
Okoth was born on a rainy day while darkness was brewing. Supposedly the savior for her pride she was sacrificed to the moon god after years of training for perfection. On her first day of adolescents she had been When nothing happened, she was thrown to the volcano, barely surviving that dreadfull accident, she lived in many caves, traveling always under darkness and rain. Finding no hope she found something worse, a pack of hyenas and other gods. Being almost killed Okoth drifted off, lost to her wild instincts. While under teh impulse of souly those instincts she lost all memories of her past, all accept her worship of the Moon God and her rejection. Still continuing to worship her god, she believed she just wan't old or mature enough at the time being. But now, upon the time of meeting her god, Dusk she found her whole clan, had been in vain, they had been not eating for their god was supposed to come to them and save them. Okoth teh sacrifice, was supposed to save them, she failed. Learning a new life now, with the power of friendship, she plan to find the true meaning of life, and a life worth living in teh land of the Misfit Pride.
