Don't worry people, I'm not going to die or anything.

It's a condition I've had for many years, and it looks like I might have to finally go for it and have the surgery to relieve my pain.
If you want to read a previous journal about it:

If you'd like to see some pictures as to what the operation involves (serious, chronic cases and wide excisions, not mine, as mine I think is acute- although doctors do not know how deep they will have to cut), then visit this informative website below.

There are some nasty pictures here, people. Please don't look if you are of a squeamish nature!

If I have the surgery, it will basically mean that I will be away from deviantART for a long time, 6-8 weeks or more.
I will be extremely sore, in pain and will not be able to walk or sit, amongst other things.

I have been told surgery is the only way now that I can relieve my pain for good.
I will become immune to antibiotics eventually and they will not work.
I am back on a course of antibiotics now for 20 days, but after that, who knows what will happen. In August, I have my Hospital appointment.

Seems I have to make a decision for then. It is best to operate whilst the sinus is quiet and not inflamed in any way. Means they won't have to cut as wide, or possibly even as deep.

Again, your thoughts and comments are much appreciated on this "pain-in-the-butt" matter.

I have also been looking into what it takes to become a tattoo artist. It would be the perfect job. Does anyone know what you need to break into the industry?

I hope you are all keeping well. And thank you all for the comments and favourites for all my deviations!

~Donna~
