In Honduras, is going to be celebrated something like a latinamerica artist submit... and between many artists... there is this particular one... he ties up a dog and let him die from starvation and thirst. I dont know if people considers this art... or what... but this "man" was invited once again to the 2008 edition of the festival and many people is trying to boicot his participation. if you wanna learn more about this guy and his activities, you can visit this site (english) nd also found a link to sign a petition to stop him.
Under my perspective, art is here to reflect our inner world and the beauty of life...

There are stray (and starving) dogs all over the world but it's not right to tie them up in a wall and let die from starvation just to prove a point. It isn't because we turn a blind eye on them, it is because we can't just adopt all the stray animals on the streets. If a point is to be made, it should be done properly and harmlessly.
