Two hour delays, that is. We had a bit of a snow fall last night. Everyone at school, (Not just mine, mind you. My brother's as well.) teachers, students, everyone...Had expected for school to be cancelled and for us to have a legit snow day.
HOW FOOLISH.
So yeah, I stayed up last night until roughly midnight before getting bored and sleeping- Oh, I have to digress for a moment.
~you can skip this if you want, I'm just musing on my bedtime behaviour~
I swear, I get insomnia way too much. But I DO end up falling asleep usually, around three or four (I wake up at six.). I've come to the conclusion that if I just kept some snacks in my room, like a little bag of halloween candy or one of those granola bars, I'd be able to saty up for quite a few days straight (Occasionally nodding off in class, of course. But that's not my fault. Warm environments make me drowsy, and I wear my jacket in class.). Most of the time the only reason I forfeit to sleep is because I'm starving and don't want to deal with the hunger pains anymore.
You see, when I settle in the office or my bedroom, and no one else is awake, and the rest of the house is dark and quiet, I don't like to leave the room I'm in. I'm paranoid of waking up my parents and being questioned. So I can never go down to the kitchen to get a snack. Phooey, I hate sleeping. As evidenced by the purple rings under my eyes. >.>
~okay, back to normal original story, yes?~
-So yes, I stayed up til midnight before getting bored and falling asleep. Then around four or five, my dad starts knocking on my bedroom door and rattles the doorknob (I had it locked for inexplicable reasons, other than the fact that I like my privacy and my parents have a nasty habit of barging in unannounced. God forbid they catch me doing homework after I told them I already finished. D: )
I stumble out of bed, and he tells me that we have a two hour delay. Then proceeds to ask me why my door was locked, to which I answered with an intellegent sounding "Uh dunnuh" and went back to bed.
I get woken up later by my two dogs, who snuck in through the slightly ajar door and were watching my rat, Edgar, in his cage with such rapt attention I thought that even if I kicked them, they'd still watch. I was half right. Yoshi, being the big, obedient oaf that he is, quickly trotted out of the unfamiliar territory that was my room. Suki, however, stayed put. So I got up and ushered her out myself. And got dressed because sleep wasn't happening.
So now I'm waiting for nine to roll by so mum can drive me to school.
I had the most bland dream. I dreampt I went through my normal day. The only difference was that we had like...Two new packages of oreos on the shelves-...I hear noises in my room. *which is right above me* Mum must be looking for socks. I swear, if she takes a pair of my special knee socks...
I think I'll go make myself some tea. I'll address you punks after school. The day is shortened since we get out at normal times. So hah, I still win.

Heh. I got a cancelation today. I have a cold, so I can't really enjoy it... But still. I'm home. And I want to play video games SO BADLY. But my xbox is in New Hampshire and my games for PS2 and Gamecube, either I'm not in the mood for the game, or it's beat and no missions are left. (sad face)

I never did my homework. ;>.>
And I always yelled at my parents for barging into my room.
I think the only people/critter who was allowed in my room at any time were my mates and my dog, Katie.
(They still are mind you, but you try telling a ghost to keep out of your room. It's nigh on impossible! |8< )
